They're calling 6-7 times a day and hang up on me when
I answer. Caller-ID says the number is "Sullivan Publishing"
but other names have also come up for this same number. They
are harrassing me and ruining our peace.

I always answer the call, leave it off hook for a few seconds, then hang up.  That way they are charged for the call.  If its a no answer, they don't get charged.  It might be only a few cents from me, but with enough people doing it, it will add up.

Doesn't this company also run EBSCOhost? They are annoying.

They have been calling our home every single day, usually 3-5 times per day, for the last couple weeks.  I called 1-330-492-5105 at 4:00 eastern time today,  a Sunday afternoon,  and asked them to remove me from their call list.  They obliged, no ?'s asked, no sales pressure.  They informed me that it would take 24-48 hours for my number to be removed from all their lists and that was that.  We'll see what happens!!

unsolicited calls

Ebsco is an outgoing telemarketing company in Ohio. I have NO idea why they don't know about/comply with the federal Do Not Call registry (donotcall.gov). To remind them, I sent a long fax, mostly a black page (!) to the company's fax line: 330-492-5205 -- five times so far! Feel free to follow my example. Even if their fax machine saves things to memory, they'll spend tons of toner every time they print one of those pages. Company's web site is:

Calls everyday and doesn't leave a message - MAKE IT STOP

Am receiving calls from this number - MAKE THEM STOP!

We get multiple calls per day from number. I've tried to answer it and tell them to stop calling. I get an immediate disconnect.

This number calls atleast 3 to 4 times a day.  Leaves no message.  Sometimes it calls the house back to back.  I am really sick of it!!!!

Please quit calling me as I have read what people have said and I would like
to be put on the do not call list imm. I am not interested in any magazines of
any sort so PLEASE QUIT CALLING ME.

Can't believe they call at precisely 7:50 PM on Sunday nights. Tried the numbers given to DNC list, but no answer. I'll keep trying. Very annoying.

They do not need to call me I have no idea why they are calling. If they call again I will notify my lawyer.

Just called the 800 number...got a pleasant lady that said she would put me on the do not call list.

calls everyday about 9:30. Then at night, 7:30, this number calls, 866 472 0313. Same both times, no one is on the line?
