They just called my phone. The person on page two who listed their info is a saint, as I will be reporting them to the BBB. I suggest others do as well.

Some type of survey, they mentioned the topic was TXU energy, which is my electric utility.
I was in a meeting, and asked the caller to call back in an hour.

This # called my cell and hung up.

Get the same calls on my cell.  For those who are worried about how someone got their cell number, relax.  They use a random number generator to get phone numbers.  If you don't answer, eventually it will kick your number out of the system as a dead number.  If you have voice mail, it will pick that up and continue to dial the number.  I disabled my voice mail a long time ago just for this reason.  If someone I know needs to contact me, they'll get me without voice mail!

WTF, when I signed up to receive free Camel products, I requested that it be prohibited to contact me via phone. I guess they are like politicians...big fat liars!

called me just a moment ago, I was takin out the garbage and thought my husband was calling from work so I ran back in, and when I answered there was silence for a couple seconds, I waited to see if anything would happen, I got a 'hello' that sound like a five year old girl..So I said my greeting again, and nothing, then I said "I guess it wasn't that important then" and I hung up.
I have read in other posts on this site and another, that this could be someone asking about your tobacco use.  Now I used to smoke cigarattes, I quit when I got pregnant, and havne't smoked since, I've gotten stuff in the mail for years...but never a phone call. So maybe it is Camel...but it sounds fishy thast they say in the gas company, I'm in Florida, why would a gas company from NC need to call me, I've never lived there.
Anytime I search for anything on the internet, car deals, store sales, anything, I start getting calls and I don't give my info to anyone.  My emial is bombarded with dating stuff, which is weird because I'm married and didn't sign up for anything.
Some of these places text you too, and then that sends your bill up even more.

I think next time this number calls me I'm going to start asking them stupid questions. like who the 4th president was or who the 4 assassignated presidents are.  How would you feel if you got stupid phone calls at all hours of the day and it was nothingness?

Got a call from them at 8pm like a lot of people. They got my phone when I idiotically submitted my number to an internet sweepstakes on a whim two years ago. I got a lot of calls from random telemarketers then, but nothing for two years. I know it's from that instance, because I used the name Nicky instead of my usual Nick.

Anyway, they asked me to take a survey on products or something, I promptly said "not interested" and they promptly hung up. Hopefully I won't get a barrage of calls like a lot of people have reported.

I can't be just camel, I don't smoke or go to bars and I don't give my cell phone out. I also don't have verizon. I don't understand, but if so many people have reported them you would think someone would have been done by now.

I got a call from this number last night.  I'm not sure why they would call me.  I don't even smoke and everyone on here is complaining about Camel cigarettes.  WRONG CHICK!!!   NOT INTERESTED!!!!!

7:01pm I didn't answer.

Someone from this # called me 3 times in last 2 weeks.  Did not answer as did not recognize #.  Called back and it didn't even ring.  I have not taken a survey for Camel, by the way.

what are they trying to sell??

They are calling about smoking and Camel products.

They keep calling me as well, 8:22pm I have never signed up for camel cigs, don't smoke camel.  I was able to answer and the lady could not even pronounce my name but would not give her name when asked.
