Received a call today. Message left was for duct cleaning for a $29 donation.

A recorded message about offering a service to clean the entire house's vents for only $30, as they are concerned about our health.  Coincidently, they are also probably concerned where one keeps their valuables!  So, for $30 you can pay someone to scope out your entire home.  How thoughtful!

Telemarket call when I'm on the donotcall list. Had the nerve to leave a voice mail. I put them on my "Junk" contact list, with a ringtone of "no ring", as my cell does not have a blocked list.

I call today. I wasn't home at that time.

Calls.  Leaves no message.  Will put it on my do not call list.

Got the call yesterday evening around 5:30.  CID said "New York" so I thought it was a friend, but couldn't get to the phone before answering machine picked up.  Clicked button to monitor message being left and started hearing what was left of some pre-recorded sales pitch about cleaning something - ducts, carpets, windows - I actually couldn't tell because they didn't repeat it nor did they repeat a company name.  Simply the standard "press one for more info or two to be removed from our call list" (which I'm sure does nothing more than disconnect you).

Got a call from them. Listed as New York on the caller ID. Left a truncated message on my voicemail. I am so sick of all these a**holes calling me. I recently discovered I have Call Rejection on my phone. Makes all the difference! Also left a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry site. Do you think anyone ever looks at all these complaints we file?

Have been calling me for the past two weeks, today I actually listened and pressed 1. For a $29 donation they will clean my air ducts (which I don't have) and when I asked them to quit calling me, as I am on the DNC list, he hung up on me. Now that I have their number (1-425-895-1885) I will be calling them repeatedly and see how they like it!

same stupid scam messages. Have called me about 10 times. I wish someone would shut them down.

Received yet another call from 347-298-1357.  Today 1/9/12 was my latest call.  Thank goodness for caller ID.  Guess our DO NOT CALL registry is not working!

Caller ID said "New York Call." Recorded message offered to clean our air ducts for $29.95. I'm reporting to donotcall.gov.

it appears to be a sales call for some kind of fire protection, for a small? donation. you had the option to enter 1 for a local rep or 2 to be placed on their dnc list. i just deleted the message.

Got a call from this number with prerecorded message offering duct cleaning service, ending with 'dial 1 to order the service, dial 2 to be put on the do not call list.'  I've already put myself on the national list, and so it is up to them to check the list, not up to me to inform every telemarketer not to call again.  I dialed 1.  A woman answered, asking me why I was on the line.  I told her I wanted to know who was calling me and she promptly hung up on me.  

I then filed a complaint with the 'do not call' registry, hoping that if they got enough complaints, they'd shut down this operation.

Air duct cleaning company in New York. Sometimes call numerous times a day.....annoying. I know it's them because I don't know anyone in NY!

Also got recorded message earlier today about air duct cleaning.  Funny how the beginning of the message seems to get distorted so I wonder if they conveniently did that on purpose as to not divulge their (fake) company name.  Also wondering if they found a loophole in the DNC list because they are asking for "donations" rather then a flat fee. Either way they are a pain in the [***] and I'm going to continue screening all calls so as not to waste my name with these low lifes.

Called the number back and got a message that it was not a working number. How can that be as I got a call (didn't answer) from that number yesterday (1/24/12)?

I got "duct cleaning" calls for "Illinois area" (I live in Wisconsin) with same caller ID, and I just reported.

They use something referred to as spoofing, in which the caller uses false information (phone # and company name) to come up on your caller ID.  That's the reason the callers are so arrogant and obnoxious cuz there's no way to trace them and they no they won't get caught. Try to google spoofing for more info.

With all these spam scam callers the Gov. should be collecting some hefty fines!
