Happened to me 03/12/15

I just received the call from this number and they left a voice mail stating names and that i had a warrent for my arrest, how do i report this to the proper place to stop these people ?

Got a voicemail message from this number. It's a total SCAM!!!!

received voice mail that said to call Morgan and Lewis, head of collection department, attorneys office and ask for Richard Smith. The message said a warrant had been issued but could avoid this by calling by 10 pm tonight.

I called and when he explained all that this was about I explained that I knew nothing of what he was talking about and it had to be fraud.  He started calling me names which I will not put in this message. I have turned this company into to the Corporation Commission and the FBI.

This company and this so called attorney need to be stopped and put in jail.

I just rec a call from this number.  Some man with a foreign accent saying they where going to issue a warrant for my arrest.  I didn't call back.  Its a scam.  Wanting to get credit card and bank info.

As soon as I heard the word "warrant" I was like, whatever. So I looked up the lawyer and it looks like there is one with that name ( Richard C. Smith) in Phoenix AZ, and that worked for the Company Morgan and Lewis LLP in 1971-1973. The phone number of caller (Stewart) is (574) 272-0000. Looked up that number and it's for a consulting company in Indiana. This is definitely a scam.

Same story guy Hindu accent.. Saying warrent issued left VM..wish .I..could..have spoken with him to give him the greeting.. He..surely deserves.. Scam..alert..all.the way

I just got this same call today.

I received the same message on my phone.  My social security number had been compromised and a warrant would be issued.  The number to call is out of state so I google the name Morgan and Lewis LLP.  There is no such law firm.  It is Morgan, Lewis, and Bockius LLP.  No law firm would leave off a partners name.  It's sad that a scam like this has to work a percentage of the time or they would give up on it.  Please tell everyone you know.

3-19-15 call from this number with same, Headquarters of Corrections Department, call Richard Smith there has been a complaint on my name and ss# and a warrent has been issued for 10 am tomorrow.  Called back and he asked for my cell and gave me a name that's not mine.

These people keep calling saying there's a warrant for me. They cuss me When I Won't give bank information. They need to be stopped!!!

This guys a joke. This fool calls me with an Indian accent claiming to be "Steven Robinson." 😂😭😂

These people kill me, a couple of months ago they said it was the FBI and that they were going to come to my door.. Huh? FBI doesn't call you they show up …. then today I got a call from (471)590-0000 number, I didn't answer and the message they left was Hi my name is Steven Radisson and i'm calling from the headquarters of corrections department a complaint has been brought up against your name and social security number and a warrant has been issued and scheduled for 10 am tomorrow. You can withdrawal the warrant if you contact the offices of law offices of Morgan & Lewis LLP before the end of the day, the  contact person is Richard Smith and contact number is  (347) 523-5553…. I happened to be in the car with my kids when I played this msg, they got worried but I told them no need to worry it's a scam and they are just trying to get money out of people by scaring them.. I told my son 1. I haven't done anything and 2. no enforcement agency is going to call you and notify you they have a warrant for you….. These people need to stop with all this BS…

glad i found this cuz i was a little nervous.  now i know i can just ignore it for now.  i dont have time for idiots like this. :(.

Just got a call from someone stating that there was a warrant out for me with my name and social security number and that I was to contact a Robert Smith by 10pm today at Morgan & Lewis law firm to clear up the warrant. I checked and got the same results as the other ones listed here.  This place does not exist. It is a scam!!!
