They have been calling and texting my daughter yesterday and today saying she has a warrant.  I say we call them and text them repeatedly all day. I have already begun.  [***] in our society scamming people infuriates me.

Just got a message saying a warrant will be issued for me tomorrow if I don't call by 10am, this has to be a scam?

message left said a warrant was issued for me and would be carried out at 10am tomorrow.   The contact number leftwas 347-523-5553.  Name of perperson calling was Steven Robinson and said to contactMorgan & LLewis LLP.

I received a call this morning from number 6345140000.They said they are from headquarters of correction dept. They left a message with an Indian accent saying to call 3475235553. They have a complaint with my social security number and name for a warrant. To call this number  3475235553 and speak to attorney Richard Smith to stop the warrant. Who are these people? Very scary for me.

My call was from the same call back number and Richard Smith is coming to get me .  I guess they think I'm scared.
First of all they didn't even give the name of WHO they plan on coming to get so I guess its anybody that answers my phone. NICE TRY IDIOTS !!!

reveived a call from this number trying to get money to a company I had no dealings with

GOT A CALL WARRANT ISSUED FOR10 A.M. TOMORROW CALL 3475235553  CONTACT RICHARD SMITH MORGAN AND LEWIS LAW FIRM .

Person left message saying he was with the department of corrections, something about my SS number being used and that If I didn't call back a warrant for my arrest would be issued by ten am tomorrow morning.

That is exactly what they told me...see you in the big house...lol.

I got the same call today.  Total loser.  Thanks everyone for posting....it's a little unnerving to get a call like this until you realize it couldn't possibly be true, but you're still a little nervous.

I got a  call from the same number stating i have a warrant scammer

voicemail says :Hello my name is Steven Robinson from Headquarters of Correction Department. We have received a complaint on your name and your Social Security as a result of warrant has been issued which is scheduled to be processed by 10:00 tomorrow morning. According to legal prosecutor you can still withdraw the warrant by contacting the Law Firm of Morgan and lewis and and empty before the end of the day. The contact person is Attorney Richard Smith. I just received the exact phone call as everyone else!
The caller, with a distinct South Asian (Indian) accent left the following message:

"Hello, my name is Steven Ratherson calling from Headquarters of Correction Department. We have received a compliant on your name and your Social Security, as a result a Warrant has been issued which is scheduled to be processed by 10 o’clock tomorrow morning, according to legal procedure you can still withdraw the warrant by contacting the law firm of Morgan & Lewis LLP toward the end of today. The contact person is attorney Richard Smith and the contact number is 347-523-5553."

Called the number they provided, and got an answering machine with a woman's voice, again very south asian (Indian) accent saying "The person you are trying to reach is not available. Please leave a message"

I left them the phone number to the F.B.I. fraud office in Albuquerque New Mexico, and also the number for the CIA [703-482-0623] just for kicks.

This has SCAM written all over it. The best you can do is screw with their heads, and let's hope these scumbags get caught.

Received message that a warrant was filed.

This morning (2/22/2015) I received a TEXT message from 702-519-6114 (associated with 347-523-5553) which read the following:

"Warrant has been activated today 4/22 Warrant #CCL-144-679, TRN:18897
Officer Justin Brown (Batch #512499)* on his route to your place (either residence or work place) Copy of warrant has been sent to your email stating all the info.
In case the warrant is not delivered to your email then revert back to the Attorney at Law Richard Smith (1-347-523-5553) MLewis LLP&Associates - MLewis LLP&Associates"

These South East asian Indians really need to learn how to communicate properly. It's supposed to be BADGE #, not Batch #, but they text like they talk.

Anyways, I called them back, and this time I got this guy on the phone, exact same voice as the one who left the voice message, the one claiming to be "Steven Ratherson" ...

He asked me for my name and social security number, which I didn't give him. I told him that he already knew who I was since he had my phone number, and that he should be able to tell me what my name and social security number was. He put me on hold, for about 3 minutes, and came back and told me my name was Mary Wilcox from Tarzana, California. WRONG. I'm a male, and I don't live in California.

I told him he was caught. That "we" had traced the call to his location, that he was breaking a number of State and Federal laws, and that his company Morgan & Lewis LLP doesn't even exist.
He got very nervous at this point, stumbling over his words, and insisted that his company was real.

When I asked him to provide me with a physical address for his company, he hung up on me.

If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a SCAM.

Don't get fooled by these scumbags. There's no warrant out for your arrest. And whatever you do, don't provide these people any personal information.

Saying there is a warrant out for me for a check or something which I have no idea of what he is talking about is this a scam trying to scare people out of there money

I received a call and the same message.  I want to know who this is and I would be glad to go to court with them
