This call came from a male person with bad english, said it was a survey about smoke detectors.  Did not see the # until after I said I was not interested.  Unlisted # on do no call list.  This was on Sept 2 at 8:08pm, just remembered to look it up.

I got a call from this number, too. A few minutes ago, in fact. I thought the number looked weird, so I decided to look it up online and I found this page. Didn't leave a message.

They said they were from some national survey company, asking if we had smoke detectors in our home.  I asked to be taken off their list and hung up.

I get calls from this number twice a week.  I do not answer it and they dont leave a message.  They are now calling both my home phone and my Fax number.  VERY  annoying!

Got a call on home line 310 pm - caller ID said Florida - thick middleastern accent - asked me if I would participate in a survey on home safety - asked if I had smoke alarms - fire extinguishers - security system - yes - yes - yes.  He then asked if he could verify my name - stated it - is said yes.  He said somethign about a contest to win an alarm.  I told him I already had one.  Lot's of acitivity in background.  I hang up and my office line rings along with my fax machine - numbers for those are uin sequence.

This number called the business I work for. The lady was extremely hard to understand. She was a different ethnicity that spoke so fast I only understood a few words. It was something about a select few homeowners in the area have won a GE System. I told her I am not a homeowner and this is a business, then hung up. I keep a log of harassing numbers and what do ya know... in the past week this number called 3 times in one day, 3 times another, 2 times the next and each time they hung up after my greeting or I would pick up and hang up. What a waste of my time....

I got a call from them about 5 min ago, came to check it out and glad i didnt answer. I almost did since i have fam in florida, but not with that area code. Isnt there a number or place to report this number/scam? You can tell somethings up just by looking at the phone number. It worries me how many people fall for this scam of the smoke dectector bit/security alarm thing. I hope they dont call back, if they do i think im gonna tell them flat out i am reporting them to authorities.

I was called on my cell phone about smoke alarms as well & when
I told them I rent an apartment & it's none of their business they hung up.
I hate these folks & hope they leave us alone.

Didn't even look at the caller id prior to answering.
Said "Hello" and it took a moment for the connection to click through and when it did I heard "Hello" and I said "Can I HELP you?" and the male voice that said "Hello" disconnected the call...thankfully.  

Looked at CID after and it says "Name Unavailable"

Got a call from this # today.  The caller was a middle-eastern sounding gentleman.  This is clearly a scam call.  It was supposed to be a survey call for fire alarm systems.

Received this call last night with Florida showing on Caller ID. Could not understand a word the woman was saying other than they were having a "running special in our neighborhood". Stopped her right there and said please take our number off of your list, we were on the do not call list. She flat out told me no, repeated again and the she told me once again no. One more time and she yelled in the phone NO and hung up. Very very weird!!!!!!!!

Do any of these companies hire English speaking people who you can understand?  No wonder unemployment is so high.  The illegals will work but you can't understand them and those who can speak English will not work because the wages are not good enough.  What a great system we have in place.

I received a call from this number a week ago but missed the call. I tried to call it back and it said the number had been disconnected. A story for the kids.

This is a scam, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!They will rob you cheat you!! A friend in Iowa fell for it, and got mugged over the phone!! The BBB in Florida has many, many complaints about this phone number!! REPEAT< DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!

i got a call from this number during class at 1:45. i answered and i could only hear a mumble. when i said i couldnt hear them, the number hung up on me immediately.
