Threaten to call me everyday, male, not totally English speaking, called regarding smoke detectors.

Called received @ approx. 8:30-8:45 EDT tonight; female indentifed herself as ----- and stated she was calling for "General Electric -- G.E." Uh-huh! Hung up' my next stop is to report a Do Not Call violation.

I just got a call at work from an indian fella selling smoke detectors no caller id, a second later my cell phone rings with this # 352-352-0352, wtf

Women with accent said adamantly that "My name is Alice & I am not calling to sell you anything. Do you have smoke detectors in your home?" Asked her where she got my number from since I am on the "Do Not Call" list & she again, more annoyed than originally declared that "I told you my name is Alice and I am not calling to sell you anything." With that I said "Good-bye and I can't understand what you are saying." Then I hung up the phone and will never answer that number again>

You're in America, too, so learn how to spell "you're" correctly.

Same story as other people- got a call from a woman with an accent.  Caller id showed the number, but listed the name as "unknown caller".

She started off with "I'm calling from... (can't remember name) this is not a sales call.  we would like to ask how many smoke detectors you have in your home."

Any call that begins with "this is not a sales call" probably is indeed a sales call!

I knew based on the caller id that it wasn't a legit call, so I answered with "hello?" with an accent.  I let her get the above sentences out, then I started saying "hello?  hello?  Can I hear you???"  "hellloooo?"

she then asked if i was deaf, then told me i should get one of those machines- she kept her cool pretty well LOL.

I then upped the ante with "Hello??? Hello??? You talk sexy to me?"

silence.

then i hung up LOL.  If they're going to waste my time, I'm at least going to get some laughs from it!

Just got a call from the siad number.  said hello three times before anyone said anything, but there was a lot of noise in the background, non native english speaker.  Said he was calling for GE, Told him that GE is the devil, and hung up on him.  The last few days have been getting calls with no info on the caller id, with the phone ringing once or twice and when ansered nothing on the line.  Most likely the same people.

Got a call from this number today here in Pa., 9/10/10 at 12:41pm. Since it read "Name Unavailable", I never answered it. We are also on our states DNC list. I tried to find out where it was coming from when I came across this site. If people like this are allowed to continue, they will. Hope someone gets them soon. Good luck catching them.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past several weeks. I do not answer it but let it go to voice mail. I too am on the Do Not Call List. These call start at 9am and go thru the day till about 10pm

I was told that my number was selected to received something from a well known company which I cannot remember now.  I hung up/

I recieved a call from this number on 10 Sept 2010 from a woman who was not quite native speaker of English. I could hear the sound of a busy call center in the background and was immediately suspicious before even hearing her voice. I said "hello" and she said "I am calling from General Electric" and I said "Please remove me from the list" and she slammed down the reciever, confirming my suspicion that the call was not legitimate. Also she was calling my cell phone which is unlisted and nobody calls me on.

Company has called a number of times.  When we've answered the say that they are conducting a survey and would like to know if we have a fire alarm system in our house.  We don't answer them.  Today a fellow with some sort of accent identified himself as Jackson.  Not sure if it was Michael but he did have an accent that seemed to indicate a middle eastern background.  I aske where he was calling from.  He said a company name that I didn't pay attention to.  I said, no, where on earth are you calling from.  He said Tampa, FL.   I said, oh, how's the weather in Tampa and switched on the Weather Channel.  He asked why I wanted to know.  I told him that since he was calling my house in search of a conversation I would ask how the weather was there.  He said that he did not want to answer that.  I said, Hey Jackson, can please do me a favor and take me off your call list.  He said he cannot do that.  I said, Jackson, please give me your f'ing manager.  He said, no your the f'n [***] and hung up.  I called back and a law firm.  Left a message for them to call me back.

sounds like the same thing that happened to me this morning. The man that called sounded like he was from india, asked me questions about smoke detectors, and then said i need your name to complete the survey. i then said i dont give out that information, and he said ill just call back. i replied no do not call me back, im not giving out any info! he replied you better give me this information in order to complete the survey! i said i better, i dont think so, and i hung up on him. 'i better' wtf!

The caller Identified himself as David. Said it was not a sales call. Asked about smoke alams etc.
Hung up. This is some sort of scam

I got a call from 352-352-0352 and the first time the lady fought with me about being on the do not call list and I told her that I was not intrested in anything that she was selling. The number called again today and they never left a message I tried calling the number back and it said this number does not exist. I am very mad because the lady that I talked to was very mean and nasty. So I am just wondering who these people are and why they are calling.

got a call from this number yesterday. 352-352-0352- indian accented male said he was calling from GE. I told him I don't have GE and he hung up.

Got a call from this number some Asian speaking man asking me if I have smoke detectors and fire extinguishers in my house. Also asked what I was most afraid of a break in, a fire. I immediately ended the call.

They keep calling our business-- about 25 times in the last 1/2 hour.

When you answer, they say..

"Is this a home, a business, or a school??"

I then say, this is a business, can I speak with your manager?  At which point, they say nothing and hang up.  Isn't it late in India right now?

Just got a call foreign voice said calling for general electric. Said I took part in a survey. Hung up at that time.
