Received 5 calls within 15 minutes on 11-4-2010. Male voice broken English. Ask about fire alarms and fire extinguishers in house. We refused to go farther. Then asks about home ownership. Began to spell our name so they knew who they were calling. Very aggressive and nasty. Said they would just keep calling back every time we hung up. Advised caller that we were calling police and the Federal No Call Authorities. Calling stopped at least so far -- since yesterday. Caller ID showed 3523520352 "A Florida Call". Caller said his name was Henry. Would not ID the company. Found long list of similar complaints on internet.

One call from this number at 6:52PM on my caller ID, triggered my answering machine but left no message.

Called my house last night 11/7/10, they started saying that our number was picked, then I asked how they got my number and they hung up.

Just got a call from this number..... Glad I didn't pick up, I'm planning on blocking.

Same thing happened to me and my wife!..Told the [***] don't ever call this number again..Going to report him now.

We had 7 phone calls in 3 minutes on different phone lines.  Different sales reps saying they are giving away a $1200 wireless home security system.

Just received a call from this number today.  Non-English speaking gentleman told me I won a "promotion" for a home alarm system.  Said it was from General Electric.  I just kept asking him questions and he started to get flustered.  Wanted me to confirm my info and I refused.  Said he had an office in my town.  Since my town is pretty small and I know there is no General Electric office  I pressed him on that.  He said the survey was done by GE but the company name is Motronix or something like that.  He then threw out the names of five supervisors in that office in my town (of course this doesn't exist).  Said a supervisor would call me back in two minutes.  I told him don't bother....told him my husband was a police officer and  I was on the Do Not Call list....didn't seem to bother him much.  I asked him where he was calling from and he said the call center in Tampa Florida...asked him how he got my unlisted number and he started fumbling for an answer.  He started talking very fast and I couldn't understand him....I told him so and he hung up but said some supervisor would be calling me.  I have blocked his number from my phone.

Follow up to my previous post.....Paul from GE called back...well not exactly GE...not sure really.  The name of the monitoring company was Monotronics.  I gave him an appropriate hard time and he said he would take my number off their call list.  Said they got my number from someone in my home answering a survey about smoke detectors---this never happened.  This has scam written all over it

Caller non English, jibberish. Operater says '# is discon/not in svc".We are on "Do Not Call" list. What gives?

Just got the call...same deal as everyone else.  I hung up after about 30 seconds of trying to figure out what the guy was saying.  If anyone falls for this one, they deserve to have their money stolen.

I got a call from 352-352-0352 on two lines but was not able to answer the first one.  When I answered the second line (7:42PM) a non english speaking person said she was calling from General Electric and then asked if I was feeling okay today and I stupidly based on comments on this board answered- YES.  The phone was then disconnected.

My husband got a call from this number on his cell phone twice & it was a forign man who was "conducting a survey" on smoke detectors - asked questions Did we have smoke dectetors, do we check them regularly, do we change the batteries, are we worried our home would catch fire - knew we owned our home & my husband by name - very creepy -

Got a call from a man named Josh, when I asked him if he was a telemarketer, he told me to f* off! Wow! gonna report this one!!

Non-english speeking male said he was with ADT. He ended the call after i told him i was on the no call list.

same thing happened to me this morning.

Just got a call from this number, I answered and said hello three times, finally  girl says this is "Kelly, I call you from General Electric."  No reason for a call from General Electric.  So I hung up!! Why can't these calls be stopped.  I have 'Do Not Call and also, call intercept on my phone."  So I will keep hanging up on them or not answering.
