When I have time to kill I will sometimes play with these scammers too. Make believe I'm really interested and see how long I can string them along. Then at the end I tell them go F themselves and hang up on them. It's kind of like pulling the wings off of flies.

Follow up - I have told them countless times to take me off their list. They just called me twice in less than two hours. I reported them twice in less than two hours.

Everybody should be reporting them to the Do Not Call list people. After they get enough complaints, they should do something about it. Everybody that sees this message should also put that suggestion in their future messages since most people will not read all 28 pages of this and will instead just skip to the end. In my second report I also pasted a link to this forum.

Pretty similar to what was reported above.  Repeated calls from the same number; we never answered them, and a message was never left.  Caller ID just shows "name not available."  My son was home and answered the call last night.  A woman with a strong non-American accent asked questions about smoke alarms, fire exits, and whether we had any concerns about burglery or fire.

I did not answer it.  I am on the No Call List.

Received numerous calls on my home number and my fax line from this number. 5 calls this week alone.  First they call the home and then the fax.  The numbers are in numeric order. They never speak, nor do they hang up.  I am on the do not call list as well.  This is quite annoying.  I will not answer in the future but can't help if my fax answers on the fax line.

Just received a call from this number - did not recognize it so did not pick up! Googled it to find this site and all the complaints about it. Did a double check that we are on the do not call list.  Just changed cell phone carriers a month ago... wonder if that triggered something??

I just got a call from this number (352-352-0352) and didn't look at the number too closely--just noticed the area code and caller ID said Florida and thought it was possibly my 93 year old mother calling so I didn't want to ignore the call.  When a strange woman with what sounded like a Hispanic accent introduced herself as "Christine", I was afraid something had happened to my mother, but then she said she was taking a survey and I started getting annoyed.  She was asking me about my smoke detectors and whether I changed my batteries every six months.  I wasn't cooperative so she realized the call wasn't going well.  When she started asking for my first name and if I was the home owner, I said she had no right to that information and I don't do surveys, not to call here.  She mentioned something about some drawing for a GE home security system and I said I didn't need it and I hung up.  What possible scam can this be?  Am I going to find my phone service has been switched or something unexpected just because I picked up the call?  Grrrr

Just received a call from the same number and said his name was Allen, and he was calling from the company GE, i heard alot of noise in the background sounding like video games. I told him to learn how to speak English and F*%$k of.

Just received the call as well from a broken english speaking person who stated that it was not a sales call and then asked something about fire extinguishers.  I hung up and was looking to report them to the do not call list people, they are supposed to fine the callers $10k for each time they break the do not call rule.

Same idiot called back FOUR times in a row.  Had to take the phone off of the hook... MORON...

Someone, who spoke loudly with clear english, but had a weird accent just called my house phone at 9pm... from this number that was obviously a spammer.

Got a phone call from this number AGAIN stating I had won something.  I said I'm on the DO Not Call List.  They hung up real fast!

Received call at 4:10 pm 11-15-2010.   I did not answer as it was listed as unknown name.  Left a message of noise.

Received the call tonight..did not answer..no mess left...tried to call back, but just received a recording that it was a bad telephone number...googled it..glad I did! Will definately not answer now!

got this call yesterday. when i answered, no one was there. i hung up. i got a call about a "free GE alarm system" a bit before that. i told the guy i had a system and i don't want his (indian speaking). the 352 number showed up as "name unknown" on my id.

I received a call from this number--11/16/1:40 PM.  A man with a foreign accent, sounded as if it might have been of an Asian variety, & he was conducting a safety survey focusing on smoke detectors & fire extinguishers.  He identified me by my name, & his interrogation started to become intrusive.  I complained to hime that I thought that he was becoming to intrusive on my privacy, but he attempted to continue in his prying questions.  At this point I flatly told him that I refused to answer his question, but he repeated the question several times, but I continued to refuse.

This number called last night - 3 times, very bizarrely.

1st call 6:30PM: My sister answered. A man with an Indian accent calling himself "Frank" claimed to be from the same 'alarm' company that keeps cropping up in these comments. She hung up the phone.

2nd call 6:30PM: "Frank" called back, screaming into the phone, "You not have any manners!" She hung up again.

3rd call 6:31PM: She picked up the phone and slammed it down. No calls since.

Received a Phone call from this very strange phone number today.
When I answered it there was no one there.
My phone says "Name unavailable" ~
Did a Google search on the number; and it says this is out of Florida

Wow! These people have a lot of nerve!!!
