It appears...that they are probably calling numbers in a particular area, number by number, most likely in a particular order, such as (XXX)XXX-XXX1, (XXX)XXX-XXX2, (XXX)XXX-XXX3, etc. to try to catch someone that will listen to them so they can inject whatever scan they are performing...

numerous calls with same message

I rec'd a call from this # at 15:20 CST on August 31, 2010.  I did not answer.  No message was left.

Call on my cell phone from this number.  Male voice, acting as if having trouble hearing me.  Lots of other voices in background (boiler-room??)

just had the same call . acted like they couldn't hear me then hung up . now when i try to call them back says its not a working number .

I too just received a call from this number. My husband answered my cell phone and the man said his name was Chris, but my husband couldn't understand what else he was saying. When my husband asked how he got the number since we are on the do-not-call list, the line went dead.

A call came in from the above number and a man with a Middle Eastern accent said he was calling from General Electric.  I told him I was on the National Do Not Call List and he hung up abruptly.

Over 2 weeks later I saw this number on my caller ID again. Seems they don't even respect a direct request to remove a number from their call list. I'd not be surprised if every call they make is a random number dial.

Got the call at 9:30 PM. Live in Connecticut so I don't think they're burglars.

Don't appreciate phone calls in the late evening  -  hang-ups are even more iritating.

I got this call at work on my State Office Building phone.  Glad I didn't answer.  Number looked strange.  Google took me to this site.

I just got a phone call from this number telling me that I was selected to receive a home security system.  I told the non English speaking male that I was not interested, and hung up.

I have gotten several of these calls claiming to not be selling anything?  Asking me if I have smoke alarms, telling me that I won a free security system, ect....  I have repeatedly told them that I am on a "do not call list" in which they quickly hang up.  Caller id says "out of area", sometimes it says FL. Same number every time.  Broken english everytime as well.

i got a "breathing" call from this number on my cell phone...i told someone at work about it and it turns out that the same nimber called her cell phone 30 minutes before i got my call. we tried to call the number...and guess what...they dont accept calls from numbers they dont know ???!!!  AND its an international call!!

I answered this call, woman named "Christina", heavy accent told me "this is not a sales call, we are doing a survey about fires" I told her to take me off the phone list, that I was on a do not call list and she should not call me. She said "B****SH**" to me!!! and hung up!

Called my cell, but it only rang once. Called my husband's cell - they were selling home security systems.

Glad I didn't pick this up. It said "Florida" on my caller id. No message left.

Got call from 352 352 0352, Florida.  No one responded to my hello, but hung up. Sept 01 2010 approx 8 PM.
