Got call today 6/1 from the same number. Didn't answer it wanted to look it up first.

One option to get these obnoxious telemarketers to stop calling is to register your number (it's free) with the National Do Not Call Registry at www.donotcall.gov, and if the telemarketers do not cease calling 31 day after you have registered your number, you can file a complaint. Normally, this will stop unwanted calls.

Called back and got the "Welcome to Hey Cosmo please wait while your records are being retrieved".

Got call on my cell phone.  Didn't answer.

Got a call today from this number at 5:29 PST on my cellphone. The phone rang for a second or two. I was reaching down my pockets for my phone and as I did that, the call stopped. I dont know anyone with a 401 area code.

Got the same call one ring and it got disconnected. I googled the number and got this info...

Just got this call from 401-648-0571 ( 515pm PST) - 2 rings and disconnected.. didnt call back.

Just got a call on my cell phone, which I never give out to anyone, and which is listed with the national no call list.  I called them back, thinking it was someone I know, and got a message that said "welcome to hey cosmo, please wait while your record is retrieved."  I didn't know who that was so I immediately hung up.  Apparently it originates from Rhode Island.

One ring, didn't answer.

I got a call from that number while i was in school!!! Then I called it back and it said the message and then wait. I got mad ang hung up!!!

Got a call a few minutes ago; didn't answer because I didn't hear the phone ring.  I called back; "Welcome to HeyCosmo.  Please wait while your record is being retrieved."  Then it went on about winning $50,000 or a Wii and crap like that...  Then it said $9.99 a month and standard text messaging rates apply.  "Press star if you are calling from a mobile phone so we can send you a text message with further information."  I hung up.  I better not get any charges because I have texting blocked so I couldn't use them even if I wanted to.

Go to http://www.heycosmo.com/common/dnc.php to block your number; it calls from  (302)336-7407  (at least for me it did.)  The site actually tells you what it's doing: Ringing, Connected, Validating, Disconnected, etc.  Then, if it was done correctly, if you try to block it again, it will come up with a little pop-up saying it's already put your number of their do not call list.

Got a call from this number at 6:26 today. Sure glad you all had posted your comments to the internet.

I got the call form the same number and i missed it.

I called them back and then i heard the same thing which you people have already discussed over here. It said press star something combination and when i didn't it took me to some main menu.

I guess its some kinda fraud thing so please don't reply to it.

Received call from 4016480571 at 12:20 PST to my unlisted wor cell phone, rang a couple times and hung up before I had a cance to pick up.  They didn't leave a message. Im glad I googled and saw that this is perhaps solicitaion.

got a call from this number, tried to answer and they hung up. didnt call back. anybody got any idea what hey cosmo is?
