calls my cell phone (have no idea how they got the #) - no message

it called my cell in  Northwestern WA - only about 3 rings - left no vm - didn't call back for fear of some sort of scam.(

Just got a call and I answered becasue I have a friend in RI, but it was the same thing, "hey cosmo...". I did hold on though and another recording came on and said something to the effect of "Hey - are your ringtones whack? Get new ones..." - then I hung up.

Call at about 11:30 A.M. EST, only a half ring on the cell an that was it.  caller ID 401-648-0571

Got a crap call from this number to my cell today, and didn't answer since I didn't recognize it. So they are still making calls.

This company (Hey Cosmo, run by Arsenal Interactive, Inc) is making about 100,000 annually, by robo calling, or people who want to make annomous calls or prank calls, you can "have this company call people in the masses, and then you get the charges apparently....their making money somehow"?

yea, I noticed it only rang twice also.  i just had dug it out of my pocket and then it stopped ringing.  i can probably say 4 certain that we all have different ringtones so how exactally do they tell when it rings 2 times on my side.  I know that 2 rings on my phone is 3.5 regular house phone rings.  I was on vacation in mississippi and less than 12 people know my number, none of which live in rode island.  I am not so stupid enough to give my phone number over the internet.  If I want someone on the internet to be able to contact me I direct them to my website, or give them one of my 6 emails depending on how important it is.  I called the number back just to see who it was, and if a person were to have picked up I would of asked "Why did you call me at 3:12 cdt on july 27 2009.".  some of these crack calls actually have people pick up, who usually are oriental.  but instead of a person I get "Welcome to hay cosmo, please wait while your record is being retrived.(fake add about getting money through your cellphone here "turn your cellphone into a mobile cash machine call____") if you are calling from a mobile phone press the star (astric) key for more information.".  I wanted to get the message up to there for you all.  I know that If i pressed the * key than in some places all they have to do is imply a contract and have a response from you as an acceptance of that contract so I did not press the * key.  whenever I get these calls from random #'s I always post a comment on this site.

Got a missed call this morning from this number.  Anybody actually talk to someone at this number??????  i didn't call it back.

I just received a call from this #, and didn't answer. I'm glad that I didn't and looked up the #, which is how I ended up here. I guess that it doesn't matter if you are on the do not call list!

They called my Cell and a recorded voice said "jenifer is.." and hung up.

Got a call from 401-648-0571. Only said "Joe it" and hung up. Sounded very muffled.

Got the call 12:40 Michigan time, did not pick up unrecognized number. Looked up number on internet, got here. What's the point!?  Don't people have anything better to do?

received on cellphone yesterday at 9:36AM.  about 18 minutes later got another call from this same type of scam only this time the number was 856-793-1400.  Not answering unknown numbers is a good practice.  If its someone legit they'll leave a voice mail.
