Received call this afternoon.  Called number back and heard "welcome to hey cosmo, please wait while your record is retrieved."  I did not stay on the line.

Received a voice mail with 3 sec of dead air.

Im in So. Cali just got the same call. I called them back said "welcome to cosmo, please wait while your record is retrieved". I hung up the phone.

Why did this number call and not leave a message, and did not have a Company name or Caller ID name??

May 8, 2009, 11/29 AM received notification of missed call. No message left. Did not call back.

I just got a call too but missed it on my cell phone. Since other people are talking about "Hey Cosmo" my first thought was it may be from Cosmo or Cosmo Girl magazine. My cell phone is registered with shoptext.com and I signed up for a promo in the past with Shoptext/cosmo.

I received a call from this number at 6:30pm tonight. I only use my cell for emergency use so I've not signed up for anything and not sure how they got my number.

Got it today too, only things in Providence according to my buddies from there are mobsters and lobsters.

Where did they get my number?
Probably thru something I ordered on the internet?
I always check the box "do not share my information"

Call my phone at 7:01 PM Pacific Time on May 12, 2009 (today). Phone wasn't with me at the time, no voice message was left.

Called me aroud 1150 wednesday afternoon. had calls like this before....only they would show up as texts on my bill. hope this doesn't happen again

Received call from 401-648-057 at 408pm 5/13/2009.  I called back but immediately hung up when I didn't know who it was.

Just got a call too.   3:05 PST.
I'll look out for the charge on my bill as well.

Also, if those who are calling from that number are looking at this site, you guys are dumb and need to get real jobs.

If this is some sort of "test" made to look like a scheme, that too is dumb.

Just saw a missed call from this number 5/14/09 9:12AM EST. Googled it and say this site

I received a call from (401) 648-0571.  Didn't recognize it and called back to check.  Message said Hey Cosmo, yada yada yada.  So I Googled the term, "Hey Cosmo" and found this site www.heycosmo.com  It offered me the chance to block my number from their members.  So I did.  Their system initiates an automated confirmation call from (302336-7407 asking me to press 1, then 9 to confirm that I want my number blocked.  Don't press * when promted.  It will take you away from the confirmation.  My confirmation went through.  No more calls...so far.

I to at call on my cell at 7:40pm. Since I didn't reconize the number, I didn't pick it up. My number is on the DO Not Call List so I don't know how they got this number!

Not appreciated though!!!
