Just got a call as well. Will have them take me off the list. I'm a vegetarian, and don't need steaks, the order was a Christmas present for my boss. Please note that the donotcall list will not help. I'm on it, and it just keeps outside solicitors from calling. If’ you’ve given your number to a company, they have the legal right to solicit to you. You just have to tell them no. If they continue, then you have recourse.

There is a page on Omaha Steaks - "My Account" - you can log in and change the status of when they are supposed to call you. I only just changed the status today (after *numerous* calls, finally looking up the number, and being directed here), so I don't know if changing the status will work or not... I figure it's worth trying!

I'm so tired of this number calling me. Once in the morning and once in the evening. It's bad enough I'm being overloaded with Omaha Steak free shipping and 50% off but now they're calling me too!!!

Same thing here. 3 calls since Friday with no message. I just sent an email requesting my number be deleted. We'll see what happens.

All you need to do is go on Omaha's site and update your contact information with another number for example 000-000-0000.

Thanks to all the posts, I now know who's been calling and never leaving a message. Props to their call center for really pounding the phones and bothering customers all over the country. The aggressive marketing tactic is very annoying and their email campaigns are non-stop. I think there's a lot of redbull floating around their marketing office...

My phone rang twice and then stopped.
Why would any company do such a stupid thing?
It reminds me of kids making prank calls.

We've been getting calls from 4025937107 for a couple of weeks, No message and no one on the line whne you pick up.

I received 4 phone calls from them just today and zero voicemails.  They have definitely lost a customer here as I only ordered one time as a Christmas Present and if I wanted more I would have gone back to the site.  Ridiculous!

They call my cell phone (which is on the Do Not Call List) at least 3-4 times a day, every day and never leave a message. I'm so glad site like this exist! I ordered from them at Christmas for a gift and the calls just started in the last two weeks -- this is ridiculous and I have emailed their customer service to complain and will report them if the calls continue.

They've been calling for the last 2 days 3 times each day, and hanging up every time. Thanks for telling me who it was, now I know not to order from them again, and if they call again will give them hell.

I too got calls with no messages. e-mailed them through the website to remove me from their list. hopefully it works.

I finally decided to look up this number after repeated calls. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to post this info! It's really a shame that they harangue people the way they do. They have great steaks, but as many of you feel, I do not think I will be doing business with them ever again. I haven't decided which way to go, but will either call them and/or email them expressing my dissatisfaction and informing them that they have lost a customer, AND that I will forward this info to every person I know so that they don't fall victim to their harassment - annoyed

4/13/2009 - 12:33pm.  I rec'd a call from 402-593-7107.  It is a collection company / law firm. Their call back number is 866-655-5826. It is typical ship trace practices that collection companies / law firms get copies of your old bills, look up companies you have done business with in the past AND call you (leaving messages) posing as those companies.  Collection companies contact your phone service provider through skip tracing and get lists of phone numbers you call ILLEGALLY and start calling those numbers.  If anyone admits to knowing you they call YOU posing as that person.  They will call as Omaha Steak, your cell phone provider, cable company or your neighbor.  I have had collection companies and law firms contact me posing a police officers (which is highly illegal), court employees and hospital personnel.  

My neighbors credit card company skipped traced all the neighbors in my apartment complex, found out our cell phone company, illegally got a copy of our phone bills, called our families/friends asking if they knew my neighbor and asked that he call the credit card company.  My friends, family and co workers were getting made at me that they were getting harassing calls for a neighbor I don;t know. Once they have a good lead your information get's updated in EVERY collection companies computers. If you change your number the cell phone providers keep giving STRANGERS your cell phone information. I have file numerous complaints with Consumer Credit Departments at each State Baking Department. No one cares.

I was recieveing call 3-4x per day. I just sent Omaha Steaks an email letting them know I was being harassed. So contact this email to be taken off their call list. custserv@omahasteaks.com

This is a collection company – NOT Omaha Steaks.  A collection company is using this number on the caller ID.  If you, someone you know or your neighbor is having credit problems you will be getting a phone call from this number.  Credit card companies and collection agencies skip trace delinquent customers and call their family, friends and neighbors a method of legal harassment. They skip trace addresses of neighbors and contact cell phone companies to get names phone numbers of  recently called phone numbers.  Personally, I think this should be illegal. If I call another person OR contact their utility company OR get names and phone numbers of neighbors OR contact their cell phone company to get them to provide me with recently dialed phone numbers I would go to jail for talking or harassment.
