Report a phone call from 402-593-7107 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Dee| 1 replyI rec'd a call from 402-593-7107. It is a collection company / law firm (NOT OMAHA STEAKS). Their call back number is 866-655-5826.
- Caller: credit collector
- AMI just received a call but was unable to answer at the time so googled the number. I too am surprised to see Omaha had called and will never use there service again.
- Caller: Omaha Steaks
- Snowman| 1 replyI got that call today, and came here to find out where it was from.
I have a patented solution to the problem that I will suggest you pass along.
I call it "Fonjudo" (c) , the not-so-ancient art of Telephone Self Defense.
The objective of Fonjudo is to get the telemarketer to hang up on YOU.
Mere insults will not accomplish this. (They are used to that tactic.) You must confuse, surprise and frighten your adversary.
There are 2 basic forms in Fonjudo:
Form #1: The Nightengale: When the caller asks if you would be interested in buying their product or service, use the following script: "No, thank you. But would you like to hear a show tune?". They will reply, "I beg your pardon?". This is your opening. The opponent is momentarily stunned and placed off balance. Now, move in for the kill. "Would you like to hear a show tune? Something from Cabaret? Or Fiddler? How about Oklahoma?"
This is where you launch right into the "Surrey Song":..."Chicks and ducks and geese better scurry, when I take you out in my surrey, when I take you out in my surrey with the fringe - - on top!".
You will hear a click on the other end of the phone line. They will locate the box marked "Batshit Crazy" in their database and move on, never to call you again. Because YOU ARE CRAZY!
If "The Nightengale" isn't effective (or you're in a different mood), you can try
Form #2: The Peacock. The Peacock is very basic, quite amusing, but requires a little more finesse on your part. When you answer the phone, and they make their pitch, give your opening reply, "No, thank you. I don't think I'm interested in any of your products/services today... (*At this point, lower your voice a little, into a sexy, just-above-a-whisper tone, and say)... "but - umm - can you tell me what you're wearing?". At this point - again - the telemarketer will say, "I beg your pardon?!". Repeat, "Can you tell me what you're wearing? Start with the shoes."
This should set them to sputtering a bit, quoting company policy, backpedaling, and put them most definitely off-balance. Don't let up. This is where you move in for the take-down. "I understand. You're probably not used to this. I'll go first." Then proceed to describe the most ludicrous, suggestive, outrageous outfit imaginable. Hot pants. Earth shoes. Suspenders with a G-string. Here's where subtlety comes in. DO NOT GET SEXUALLY EXPLICIT! They'll be busy drawing upsetting pictures in their own heads. Chances are, they will hang up on you and - again - check the Batshit Crazy box in your file. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
I was able to successfully remove myself from all telemarketing lists in less than a year using this technique. I turned the practice into a Toastmasters Humorous speech, and won the 2002 Toastmasters District 5 Humorous Speech Competition with it. Try it! You'll get fewer junk calls, and give the telemarketer an interesting story to tell to colleagues at lunch. And if any of them actually tells you what they're wearing, or sings along with your show tunes, changes are they'll get fired by the supervisor who listens in on their calls. And that's one less telemarketer to mess up someone else's day on the phone. Have fun with this! Goodness knows I have!- Caller: Omaha Steaks
- AnonymousBETTER YET.... how about just saying, "Remove me from your calling list." to save both you, and the Omaha Steaks employee some breath.
:D - Jenny F.I have logged well over 100 missed calls from Omaha Steaks. never order from these people. I ordered once for a christmas present and now I am sooo sorry. It's so rude. They call at all hours of the day!
- Caller: Omaha Steaks
- ShawnOMG They have called me twice already today.
I do love them and have ordered personally from them just one time. I think I would still order again but they can't call me all the time like this. - Patthey keep calling my cell too.. and not leaving a msg... using my freakin minutes
- sarahi have received a call at my work phone from this number 11 times in the padt week.
- RachelThis phone number has tried to call me each of the last 3 days. Any way to stop it?

- Phila Resident6/22/2009 2:06pm Hang up call. Doesn't leave a message just calls and hangs up.
- AndreaI am getting the same.. thankfully I'm not answering!
- AndyWas getting random calls from 402-593-7107 and it would hang up if I answered and not leave a message if I didn't answer. Saw this forum, called the number back and it was Omaha Steaks.. told them to remove me from the call list. They were pleasant enough on the phone and said after 12m tonight I will not get anymore calls. Jury is out, but certainly not the worst customer service I've experienced. Good luck

- AdamI just hit 50 of these missed calls.
- LauraWow, thanks to this site, I now know who is calling NON STOP. I ordered a gift and one for myself and I still have meat left. But to get several calls a day, day in and day out, starting from 9:30 until almost 9 at night. Now I know who is calling I will answer and tell them to stop or I will report them (to whoever it is we report these calls?)
- KristinGot a call yesterday and today and they didnt leave a message. I googled the # and this came up. I was happy to know the number wasnt a scammer, I called back and asked to be removed. I dont think its a big deal as long as they take you off the list when you ask. Ill still order from them and get their emails, but im not a fan of stores calling me.

- BillThis number is Omaha Steaks. I received a call a day for months. I finally told them that I was a vegetarian and I have never received another call again.
Try it!- Caller: Omaha Steaks
- mollyI've ordered from Omaha Steaks a couple times so I assume thats how they have my number and this was the number they called me from. i didn't answer. But I called back and asked them to take me of their call list and they were more than happy to do so, very pleasant about it. I still get their emails with great coupons though.
- GatorI've been getting numerous calls from this number over the past couple weeks. Typically I would come home from work an have a bunch of hang-ups on the answering machine. Today I took the day off, and have been home. Of coruse, the calls kept coming. But even when I answer the phone, there's nobody there. All along, I had been assuming that they were just hanging up on my machine. But today they were hanging up on me too.
So what the heck is their angle? They must not be trying to sell me anything if they just hang up when I answer? So why are they calling?
Well, nonetheless, I found their 800 number and I called to get myself removed from the list...- Caller: Omaha Steaks
- sbMNI have received a few calls from omaha steaks and didn't answer hoping they would get the hint. Today I received one at 2:00PM and Googled the number. I was directed to this webpage. I proceeded to call them back and remove my number. After reading all these blogs I was worried this would be a challange. But "Robyn", with a heavy sigh, asked for my number, confirmed my name and removed it from their call list. Quite easy. I enjoy their food, but not their frequent calls. I will order again, but think twice about my phone number.
