they used another number before, already reported from several people. when i answer they say "this is the second notice that a warranty on one of your vehicle may expire"...

yeah, they used this number 253-964-6881. but its the exact same message. (i've never had a vehicle..)

I have received 2 calls this week from this number and have no idea who it is as I am at work and not answering.

they keep calling on my cell, and using my min, i pay by the min and they are using my min up how can i stop them

I don't know who these people are but they keep calling and when I got to talk to someone and asked them how did they get my number and why are they calling me about my car warranty they were very rude and said they woudl take me off of their list but I still want to know who they are.

they called me and my caller id said service announcement.  I didn't answer and they did not leave a message.

I don't answer Cell phone calls with numbers I don't recognize, so I didn't speak with anyone or hear a recorded message.  Yes, it's annoying, but calling my cell phone isn't going to accomplish whatever it is the caller is trying to accomplish.

If you dont answer calls from other numbers then why the hell should we answer when you call us??

you must be a creeper with no life to go around calling people that you dont know but then not answering when we call you back to find out who in the [***] you are.................dont call me again unless your going to answer when the cops call you back.........................be afraid, very afraid

looks like ppl just recently got this call and i am also one of those ppl...what the HELL. its so annoying...sometimes i do get the urge to pick up...but deep down i know that its one of those automated machines..about your warranty on your car bs...um I DONT HAVE A CAR! picked up only once or twice. and got the idea after that.

but its a trick to probably see who stays on the phone the the longest maybe they can steal some sort of information about your/my background and start using ur identity.  ppl are wacko, so i wouldnt not be surprised..which is why i NEVER pick up no longer.

vehicle warranty Scam! . I start getting these phone calls a day after I called a website (buyverizon.com) . I guess that's how the get my #number . I notice few website  like the one I mentioned like buytimerwarnercable.com
etc etc. I never answer theses phone calls . I just wait for the voicemail.

I've never signed up for anything using my cell phone #.
(you shouldn't be charged on a pre-paid for these calls if you don't answer, seeing as how they don't leave a message they won't be filling up your inbox either)
Just don't answer. Its a scam for sure! Probably trying to get a credit card number.

What gives. I just received the same voice recording. The first time came from 2175463046 and now form 4029820679 with the same sort of recording "press 2 for... and your vehicle..." This is very annoying. Why do people waste their time and my time just to prank call people. Are they really that immature.

Called warning me that my "car warranty was about to expire." My car is ten years old, and has been out of warranty for quite some time now. Total scam.

Yep they have called me three times so far today alone. I have not answered the calls at all. But I tell you what, if they call again, they think they can be rude? Ha. I use to be in collections. It will be an ear full.

Found out 402-982-0679 are being used by a telemarketing firm. Tele-marketing firm is a customer of a carrier based in the Midwest. Any complaints on telephone numbers starting with 402-982-0679 should be addressed to the telemarketing compliance number 1-866-708-0401 to record a complaint. They seem to take care of any complains on the telemarketing calls.
