I got this call first on my call phone at 12:58pm pst, then at my work desk 3 hours later. I called it back and pressed 1 to be taken off the list, but they claim it takes 72 hours to process.

It's a "robocall" usually with a fake caller ID.  It asks if you are interested in something like "lower credit card interest" or "renew your car warranty" and instructs you to press 1 to speak to a live person who just wants your credit card number so they can take as much money from you as they can.  It's spanish because many cell phone users speak spanish.  It's a scam.

called from this number as well. 1 402-982-0710 I didnt answer.

402-982-0710 just called me on my cell too... But I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. I have my number in the national do not call registry, apparently it doesn't make a difference.

Answered the phone and no one was there.

I got an e-mail from Youmail, that this number was a missed call on my cellphone. i checked my phone for missed calls, and my cellphone said i had no missed call's. i then checked Youmail, and this number showed up on my last 5 calls list. i also have Trapcall set up to work with Youmail, and Trapcall sent the unmasked caller id to Youmail. the caller id acording to Youmail (unmasked with Trapcall) is a company called advo or whatever it is. i then called the number back, and a prerecorded message said “ if you wish to stop reciveing call's from this number push 1”. i did that, (even though i know that any number a telamarketer tells you to push to be added to the do not call list does not work) the prerocorded message also said that it whould take 72 hours for me to be put on this company's dont call list. when i herd this, i was thinking WTF?. so, i told my Youmail acount to backlist the call as SPAM. so my advice is if you keep geting calls from numbers like these, try signing up for Trapcall and/or Youmail

Just called, spoke Spanish only, I have no idea what she was saying.

got call about a half-hour ago, didn't take, no message left

Used to get calls in Spanish all the time from actual people asking for a guy they called "Miramontes".  I can speak only enough to understand that he gave them my number and they're sure it's right.  May have given my number to these telemarketers, too.

Called my cell phone didn't leave a message.  I didn't answer it because I didn't know who it was.

Received call, no VM.

Just got it (1PM PST 9/8/09), Denied the call, Spanish message was long enough to get into my voice mail. I do have a Hispanic last name but cannot comprehend Spanish.  Who are these people.  Someone must be selling telephone numbers or something.

called MY CELL PHONE!!!  Robocall machine jabbered away in Spanish so I hung up.  Someone needs to get FTC to shut them down.  They owe me minutes on my cell account.

it's really irritating me. the call came at 6am california time.

I got this call on my cell. I knew it was someone I didn't want to talk to 'cause it was that annoying ring. Everyone I want to talk to has a custom ringtone. No message left, what a bunch of jacktards.

did not answer it.

just got the call again....... i think i get it like twice a week...

Missed call at 3.30PST on 9-9-09 and no voicemail was left.

I answered my cell phone and a poorly recorded robocaller started jabbering away in what I think is Spanish.

Got the same call in spanish.  the recording is saying that i will be recieving some type of gift, but i hung up before i could finish listening. :)
