telus is calling you

ongoing calls from this number that I never answer and never leaves message.

From what I have read it is Telus, but when one answers the call there is no one at the other end.

I've answered the phone and advised this is business number and to stop calling.

Caller ID says Telus, but I am highly skeptical of that. The interaction with the individual plays out like a typical Indian phone scam. Some easy ways to spot these:
1) Discourages you from talking to your spouse.
2) Frequent calls.
3) Heavy accent.
4) Asks for credit card information, or other info such as SIN or driver's licence.
5) Very insistent and pushy.

I used to work as a Telus rep at a 3rd party company, and as such you're assigned a short code for your location, and a 4 digit rep ID. The Indian gentleman on the phone had a heavy accent and was quite pushy, claiming to be offering us a deal with Telus's home internet. What they were doing however was reading a month to month plan straight from Telus's website. This individual also did not want to get my spouse involved, and told me he would need my SIN and driver's licence because for the service it would require a 2 year contract. When asked for his rep ID, he gave a 12 digit monstrosity of numbers and letters.

How about call block

If you don't know the number calling you or recognize it as "that number"  don't anser it ever.  It will go away at some point.  It will......Just never, never, never answer it.  Telus can't do anything about it.  Don't answer and in time it will go away.
