I got the call from this number at 11.44 PM yesterday night. Looks like we are seeing the effects of hacking which involved aeroplan customers info some time back.

They called me again today - 2nd time - on my cell phone which is through Kodo.  So evil!

put on your do not call list

they called my unlisted fax line.  Obviously a scamer.  marked for Zapping!

Just got a call on my work phone from 403-791-8642.  All I heard was "to accept press 1"

I am with virgin so it cant be just with bell customers, cause i just got a phone call, didn't answer it as i didn't recognize  the long distance number, and looked it up. not the first time its happened to me and won't be the last either, most likely

they called no message no return voice  leave me alone

USING WESTJET TO GET YOUR ATTENTION. THEY ARE TELEMARTKERS SELLING  CANCUM STAYS. HANG UP. THIS IS B.S.  ADDING THIS NUMBER TO THE DONOT CALL LIST.ANY COMPANY WHO YOU CAN PHONE BACK AND GET THE MESSAGE THAT THIS NUMBER IS OUT OF SERVICE IS EXACTLY WHAT YOULL BE OUT TOO.

Just received a call from 403-791-8642 saying to press 1 because I won 100,000 Air Miles rewards miles.

I did not of course.

Got a call on my Rogers Cell phone - same as everyone else.

called my cell and home phone claiming i won 100,000 points

i have mts. this number called me on both my cell and house phone (shaw) so its not necessarily through your phone provider.. something else...

I just registered them with the "Do not Call List". Let's see if this slows them down....

This number is being used in a Air Canada special gift scam now.

Just got this call on my cell. Got a dead air voice message. I'm on Telus, but Bell has my cell number, and have been harassing me with telemarketing calls for a month now, since I demanded to be removed as a customer. [***]! (Okay, I know it's probably not ALL them, but I feel better blaming Bell)

Its said "you've won 100,000 air miles promotion". When you press 1 to accept "your prize", it then asks you a serious of questions: 1) are you over 25 years old - I said "yes.  2) do you have a valid credit card like visa, mastercard or american express? - I said "no".  The message said "I'm sorry but you do not qualify for this promotion."

- What contest requires you to have a credit card? of course its a SCAM!!!

They phoned me with a canned message saying: "Congrats, as a preferred Air Canada Customer, you are eligible for a prize. To accept, press 1". I did and when the guy asked me my age, I in-turn asked if he was from Air Canada. He then hung up.
