Has anyone been served to appear in court?  Has anyone experienced them following through on their threats of a lawsuit or a sherrif come to your house?  Just curious.  I have had phone calls from them and I am just waiting to see what will happen next.  I will not make deals with them.

These clown shoes have been calling my number for a few months now. They always leave an automated message. Keep on calling and wasting your time and money. You will NEVER see a cent from me. LOL

All of ya'll are some clowns pay your debts or dont live above your means, or nobody will call you, this is the main reason why the country is [***] up. Know one wants to take responsibilities for their actions, yes I currently work for VCA, & I work for 2 other agencies prior, & I dont break the fdcpa, & all I'm watching is a bunch of dead beats & former employees, making excuses on why they couldn't perform or why they dont pay their bills, & by the way no one actualy won a law suit against us, & that's saying alot since just about every agencie & debt consolodation co loses a suit at least once, so keep on crying losers.

Okay to the person who asked have anyone ever gets sued by vca, no they dont sue anyone, we just gather the info for the people who do, asked anyone who ever been garnished almost all of them can tell you that they never seen a judge, that's not how it works, secondly once you sign a contract a finance organization don't have to ask you permission wants they won a judgement against you, it's just a matter of is your debt high enough or due you have enough assets where an atty would see going after you is worth there time, but if you're a loset and always been a loser & always had bad credit they'll probly leave you alone.

Nice try.  Even collectors have to be licensed in the state they are trying to collect in and collectors still have to abide by Federal and state laws ( both in the state they operate in and the state they are attempting to collect). Many states have stringent collection laws as a result of the payday loan industry.

I recently had an interview with this company. Upon my arrival I was given what I thought the normal prehire paperwork to complete. To my surprise the paperwork included a 5 page contract that all collectors must initial. Basically VCA dissassociates itself from the collectors. Stating the collectors are to consider themselves independant contractors. The contract also states that as independant contractors they are hiring under the assumptions that the collectors have acquired all licenses and certifications required to do there job effectively. I spoke with the "team" mgr. in reference to this and several other  clauses in the contract which he replied "when I first started here I was about getting that paper".  My question to all my "readers". To be considered as an independant contractor and to fill out a 1099, does one not have to have a business license? What was even more evadent was what I felt the racial under tones. Needless to say I thanked the "team" manager for the experience not opportunity and Im continuing to explore my options.

This company is not a Law firm in no kind of way, I work for them they are alot of things but Law Firm is not one of them. They want u to collect money for them when they want even pay there own employees

I received a call from this vanderberg chase company and a guy posing as an investigator named robert steele @ 888-812-2922x3024 called my cell phone and left a voicemail stating that i needed to make a decision on a so called case against me in the county i live in and then the next day, he calls again and leaves another message stating the case was against me and my husband in my county of residence and then on the following monday, I get a call from 513-257-0132 and its an automated recording that didnt give no name just said I needed to give a statement in the case against just me so they could turn their client and they left a number for me to call. 888-470-0020, so I called it back just to see where it was from and it was vanderberg chase..the lady i talked to was very rude and I told her that this is not the person they were looking for, she said "I will remove your number from our system." and very rudely hung up and I havent heard anything since then. Hopefully I won't hear from them any more. THEY ARE LIARS AND SCAMMERS AND ARE NOT GETTING ANY MONEY FROM ME AND I HOPE NOBODY ELSE SENDS THEM ANY EITHER BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF ROYALLY.

they also use the number 402-683-3081 ---  AND they have caller ID on their end so that if you do call back, they already know to whom they are talking.  I got a really dumb woman, sounded like she had a mouth full of cotton or candy.  Had trouble pronouncing the firm name as well as their fax number.  I told them to go to hell.

I have been receiving calls from an automated dialer form this number leaving a threatening message that the sheriff was coming to see me if I didn't return their calls. I know they are a collection agency and that doesn't scare me in the least. However, their message whne left on my answering machine is clearly there for anyone to hear. They say if this isn't Robert please hang up. How do you tell an answering machine to hang up ? I spoke with my attorney and he said to notify the FTC which I am in the process of doing
