Not only do I receive calls on my house phone, but I am getting calls on my cell phone from the same number.  It's a scam call regarding lowering credit card rates.  I have both phone numbers on the do not call list but it doesn't do any good.  Contacting the FCC, phone company and my senators does no good.  Isn't it a shame that we pay for these services and we are harassed and nobody seems to care.

Financial Rewards was the name of the company, per the caller, and when I asked that they remove my name from their list was told it would cost $14.95 to have the done.  Reported on Do Not Call Registry and will do anything else to report these morons.

Don't knowm, why this number is calling me so I won't answer it.

You can call your cell phone company and have calls restricted from that number, it is the easiest way to get rid of the annoying calls.

Simple solution people, DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE FROM NUMBERS YOU'RE NOT FAMILIAR WITH, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS AN OUT OF TOWN NUMBER. Just click the disconnect button on your phone. IF it is truly an important call and someone is in need of getting in contact with you, they will either leave you a message or text you.

Don't bother. These companies are constantly changing the number that shows up on your phone. Read the response below, just don't answer long distance phone calls from numbers that are not familiar.

If you do not have anyone in that area(unless one of your creditors) DO NOT ANSWER.  I will not tell you to ignore your creditors(that would be unethical) but if you do not know the number, as has been stated, press Ignore on your cell or just do not answer. These folks get paid even if you do not answer and unless you know where exactly they are located(and know a bone crusher) they will keep on calling because it's no skin off their nose.

Word of advice!  Do NOT ignore the Sate or Federal Government, they do not play around and you can NOT get out of paying them!

I didn't answer the call but did a reverse look up. The call came from Georgia and for a fee they could give you more information. Is this a scam by the people that want to be paid for the research they do?

On the do not call list... STOP calling....

I am getting calls from this number on a daily basis.
sometime they start talking about interest rates and break off, other times they
do not answer. I do not want these calls and have been on the DO NOT CALL LIST
for a couple years...MAKE THIS STOP.

This type of spam might be someone tapping a disconnected phone, to spam a variety of victims. On one occasion a flood damaged a switchboard region, and some phones were mis-connected to generate this type of call.
