Called again.  Some kind of telemarketer.  Not a cop or anything of the kind.  Telemarketer probably spoofed the number to look like out of country or cop number.  See privacyrights.org site.

I am in California and I got a call from my daughter whom is also in California, she was using a calling card we bought at the 99 cent store.

i got a call from this number today.  I was nervous because it came up as a McIver Law Group.  They asked if it was my business, they knew the name and I confirmed. They said they were from National Pen Company, a company I have used in the past. They wanted to know if I was pleased with my order.  They seemed like they were fishing for information, but then just said if wanted to reorder, please give them a call.  I called the number back and got a message saying it has been disconnected.  From the threads I've seen here, it sounds like someone up to no good trying to get sensitive information from consumers.

I got this call, same number, it's from a friend that was using a calling card. She was up in Sacramento.  Good luck you guys!

Confirmed that it is from a 99 cent calling card.  Pays to read more of the thread, 'cause I was confused by the law enforcement number postings at first too.  Too bad we can't have them deleted.

404-524-0000 credit collectors number

I believe  404-524-0000 was one of the credit collector agent

i have received two calls with that number. no voice messages left, and when i called it back it was a disconnected number. this is really strange. i dont know anybody who would be overseas.

Got a call from this saying Mciver Law Group 404-524-0000.  Repeated calls, 3 times today.

Must be a calling card.  I just got a call from the number too.

I got a call from this number.  Two of them, actually.  Once last night at like 11 p.m., and another this afternoon.  When I called back, it says the number is disconnected.  How can a disconnected number be calling me?  Either a government agency, or a business that routes all incoming calls to an outgoing  message that is mocked to seem like a disconnect message.

Probably the reason why some think it's law enforement or whatever is because when I got this call today it said on the callerID  MCIVER LAW GROUP

I just got a call from that number, I called it back and it said it was disconnected. It's got to be from a prank caller or one of those calling cards from the 99 cent store.

I got 3 calls from this number and then finally answered on the 4th.  It was a call from a prostitute in Paris I had visited while on vacation.  She was calling with an extortion attempt.  How do I block this caller?
