i just recieved a call from a friend of mine and I usually don't answer weird numbers on the caller ID, but I had never seen this one before.. it came up as the mciver law group and when i heard my friends voice I was surprised.. so when i got off the phone i looked up the name on google and to my surprise i am not the only one that wondered.  It is a calling card.

14045240000 Mciver law group but they dont pick up. Whats the deal?

Left voice mail. Said they were ATX and wanted to tell me about their tax software. Left an 800 call back number.  Looking at the variety of calls, this must be a calling card or something similar

This is a company trying to sell third-party ink and toner cartridges

It was someone trying to sell ink.

I just got the call from 404-524-0000 and on the caller ID it said "Mciver Law Group"  Any ideas what that means?

umm yeah i got this call too and they said they were a guy named JON from WEBSITE BUILDERS....kinda weird. had a freaky accent like a high pitched chinese lol. but yeah it was weird. i live in northern minnesota.

People with accents selling toner and ink... called my business line

I believe it is national pen company because they have been calling and using different numbers.

I got a call from the number as well. It was a local lady who is using a pre-paid calling card...it's not the government!

This number has been calling my cellph for the past 5 days! I call back no one's answering! It is annoying, it should be stopped. it's eating up my minutes on my cellphone!

I'm thinking maybe this call is coming from a prison. You know they let them use calling cards.

At 3:20 12-26-08 had this call that wanted to place an ad for me on the internet for FREE. They used the contact information that I had used last week on the Craigs-Listing. I hung up. It sounded like a call center, woman with a sight overseas pitch.

wow, this psycho has been calling me from this # over and over again daily. i keep changing my # but he wont stop. switched carriers. still gets it. fills up my vm in 30 mins w/ 30 msgs and each one is just a couple long beeps. any possible way to stop him??????

I received three calls on my cell from this number (404-524-0000) today. The first time, no message.  The second time they left a message but it was in an asian language.  Third time I decided to answer it.  Again, an asian operator who I could barely understand.  She kept asking my name, which I wouldn't give of course, and over the next several minutes I was able to deduce that she was calling from a company called Pioneer Communications and was asking if I would be interested in purchasing phone cards that I could use to call overseas.  I told her to remove my number from her calling list, but it's unlikely that overseas they are bound by any 'do not call' registry.

pre paid calling cards also remember there are skpe calls where people hide their numbers like cheatimg boyfriends who have girlfriends that are worried about me! baby mama ! who boyfriend is a liar and cheater. Baby mama  Know this because she is very good detective Skpe number is 1123456789 or it is a blocked calling card. He is so through. THAT GOSH DARNED  F*#@!ING NUMBR  HAS BEEN HARRASSING ME FOR 5 MONTHS AND ITS DAILY! USUALLY ABOUT 30 - 40 MINS OF NON STOP BACK TO BACK CALLS, THAT BEEP IN MY EAR WHEN I ANSWER, AND FILL MY VOICEMAILS UP W/ BEEPS. WOW. RIDICULOUS! SOMEONE IS BORED....NO LIFE? SAY MUCH?
