Another sales call in violation of the do not call list!!

Same as all the others.. BUT.. I've added a contact to my cell numbers called "SPAM".  When I get the first call I save the number to the SPAM contact and always have any numbers on that sent directly to voice mail.  Phone never rings and of course, never leave a message.

Been getting calls from this number in Floriday, calls from (407) 454-9999 in Seattle, and the same kind of calls (don't have the number any longer) that are from California. They must have a whole network of these idiot callers all over trying different tactics. Florida and California try to lower interest rates and Seattle tries to get rid of my maintenance fees.

I have received more than 150 (I have them documented) calls from these criminals. I have filed more that 50 complaints with the FTC however due to the fact that they hide behind spoofed numbers I doubt that they will ever stop any of them. They ask for up front fees and charge your credit card without performing any services.

I find that I am getting great enjoyment by pressing 1 and talking to one of their "reps". I have a phony name, credit card number, and security code that I use. The only legitimate number that I give them is the customer service number from a credit card that I no longer use since the card raised my rates.
I try to ask the criminals as many questions as possibe to keep them on the phone as long as I can. The scammers seem to get upset once they finally figure out that THEY are getting scammed. I guess they think their time is more valuable than mine.

The guys behind this scam have a slew of corporations, many of them defunct. I searched using the name “American Debt Negotiators” and found the name of the Registered Representative was a guy named RAN BARNEA, aca RAN DAVID BARNEA, aca DAVID R BARNEA. He is also listed as the president of a whole slew of other active corporations. Another guy is DANIEL T. POST. This stuff is all public record. got a call from this number. Tried to call them back and it is "no longer in service". Caller id says Florida and that is it. Scam!

They called on a robocall and said something is wrong with the check.

"Some on your list have already been the subject of FTC action, such as Roy M. Cox of Castle Rock Capital Management. Not surprisingly, many are habitual repeat offenders, and are the subject of multiple FTC actions. FTC action is grossly inadequate in these cases. The millions of unsolicited "Heather" "Rachel" et all, Card Services robo calls will not begin to subside until these criminals are charged with Federal Felonies, are convicted and subjected to significant jail time.

Civil action by the FTC against such criminals is totally ineffective. All of those involved know that they are violating FTC regulations. The FTC prohibits unsolicited calls for any kind of debt / interest rate
reductions which require up front fees, period, and that is what these robo calls are about. The FTC civil actions have been nothing more than whack-a-mole interference. Which is why numerous individuals are the subject of repeated actions, despite signing prior agreements that prohibit future involvement. The FTC levies huge fines, then rescinds them based on inability to pay. The FTC settles for the minimal cash on hand, and enjoins them from future "telemarketing". The criminals sign off, then go right back to business. The entire operations are clearly criminal, intent to defraud, etc, and should be dealt with in criminal court and not by civil actions.

The banking system is also at fault here, without merchant accounts and ACH processing these criminals could not collect the scammed funds. Though the criminals use obfuscation, layered corporations, multiple bank accounts and offshore stashing, patterns of obvious fraudulent activity become apparent after a short time.

If you are interested in obtaining useful tracking information on the callers, I suggest another angle in the conversations. Act very interested in the rate reduction scam, as you have multiple high interest cards with large balances. Tell them that you don't give out card numbers in response to unsolicited calls. However, tell them that if they provide you with a verifiable number that you will then call them back and provide the info.

Since many of the operatives work on commission they will provide direct contact numbers if they believe you are serious about completing the deal. Verified return phone numbers are an excellent tool in tracking the people behind the operations.

Many of the inbound robo call numbers are spoofed, as most of the bolierhouses, both off and on shore, are using Voip SIP Trunks services. Throwaway DID numbers are also used. Some of the robocalling is operated by the end use scammers directly. Others are contract services who earn a referral fee once you are transferred to the scammers.

In a follow up post I will document one group associated with the Rachel "Card Services" and the pond scum, including a lawyer behind one of the operations. Follow the money ..... track the recipients ... and take a close look at the processors and banks involved."

I simply do not answer these calls. I don't answer 800 numbers, restricted or unavailable!

I have a better way. Stop incoming calls, just allow outgoing. If someone wants to get in touch with you have them send e-mail.

Or you could answer the call in a little old ladys voice, tell them you have been advised to not do any finanicial transactions due to a medical condition. Get a call back number and tell them you will have your lawyer contact them as that is the person who is handling your finances.

Keep getting calls from 407-45499 about lowering interest rate.I'm on DNC list.Tried calling this number back all you get is call cannot be completed at this time.This is harassment.Reported to DNC for wharever good that will do.

Go to Walmart and in the boating department you will find a canned air horn.  The next time they call, and they will, if you can get the [***] to answer try to blow their eardrums (and what little brains they have) out the other side of their heads.  This will not stop the calls but at least you will have the satisfaction of knowing that the [***] who called you will be more pissed off than you are when the call is over.

Tired of receiving calls from this number.  If I want to talk to you, I'll call you.  If these are calls about lowering interest rates or improving my credit, you have inaccurate info.  Please stop calling!!

Automated message from Cardholder Services.  Press 3 to be removed from these calls, 1 to speak with a rep.  Judge Judy is on--I hope they enjoyed the show.

I received 4 calls in a row, they left a message on my machine, but the only part I got was "have a great day" as they talked over my answering message.   Tried to call but I also got the 'call can not be completed as dialed"    My caller ID showed "V201133445454" but it changed each time so my guess is that its showing the robo dialler. MAKE THEM STOP

I hate when they call  and hang up the phone... coz I look like crazy running to pick up the phone and say HELLO in a nice way and then they hang up... I don't know  these  kind of people.. May God bless them .. They don't have God to afraid of ... there god is money..
