I called them and a guy names Joel picked up and i asked if the president of the company was there and he's lik 'im sorry i cant transfer you but i can give you his number : 801....' and then i butt in and ask 'is there was anyone higher then you' and hes said 'yes, my supervisor' and i asked 'my i speak to him/her' and so he gives it to her...
*note while i was talking to him and her there was people in the back ground...phones ringing...and laughter*...
i asked her what the company was and she said a college board list or something.
and then she asked for my number so i give her my number and she said my mom's name?!! and im like umm yea....and then she said lik 'oh, ok no, oh ok now...(she stuttered...) it says that your not recommended' and i said ok, great. and she said im sorry for the trouble and confusion. So i said its fine, thank-you.
So i HOPE they stopped and WILL stop calling my number.
I assume that something is going wrong over there.

This number keeps calling me, and the worst part is it is always VERY early in the morning when they call! They never leave a message and always call back to back. This number along with 201 257 4103 and 231 732 2031. SO annoying!!

I received a call from this number on 8/4.  I didn't answer the phone, nor did they leave a message.  I called the number back and a "Jennifer" answered saying that she was from an online company that helped place your education desires with appropriate online colleges.  She said that she had gotten my number when I filled out an online survey.  I did fill out an online survey, so the call was legitimate for me.  Hope this helps.

Try this little trick I discovered by accident. After answering the phone all day with my company's name, I had a brain fart and answered my home phone the same way. Well, I got an apology and a promise to have my number removed from their call list. It worked. I never got another call from them again. I've been doing it with all the other calls and it works 85% of the time. Of course the automated recording calls can't be stopped since they are voice activated, but try this system. Make sure it's not a REAL business, or, make it a BIG business (like "US Cellular"). It confuses them beautifully!

Yep. He was calling about college classes. He said I filled out "that form online"....the least he could do was TRY to act professional. I will file a complaint as well.

These people called at least 5 different times today. I don't answer, and I tried calling one back and the line was busy.

This is creepy - I got a call from this number today at 12:30 edt.  He asked for my husband, i said he's not here can I help you, he said there really isn't a message I'll just try later.  I don't have caller id, but it was such a strange call I did *69 and googled the number and this site came up.  How bizarre!  Why always ask for man?  I'm creeped out now!

i just answered this number after beein hasassed all day, i didnt give the a change to talk, at yelled at them say iam on a do not call list so stop effin call me, if they do it again iam not gunna be as breif , iam gonna give them an ear full

kept getting calls from this number...never left a message and could never speak with anyone when i answered because they would hang up. i finally decided to call the number back but was always busy. Finally i got a ringing tone and a girl named Becky answered and i politely asked if i could be taken off the list and she did it instantly. didn't seem to have any problems.

Pretty much as above, except they don't even have the right name.  Wondering is somebody played a prank on us and gave out our phone number- we're getting 50-60 calls/day.  Re-registered with donot call.gov  Any other suggestions to stop this harrassment?

I got a call from these people... They asked if I was interested in getting a degree online.

Some guy from this number keeps calling asking for my boyfriend. Every time I say he isn't here can I take a message they hang up real fast. Who are these people? How did they get my #? How do they know my boyfriends name?
