2 calls for Elwood. Persistent. ID'd themselves as calling from the Logan Utah center of Career Institute regarding my online application.

Another person quickly came on the line. They were informed that they had the wrong number for Elwood Oxenrei.

I have been getting blown up with this number and 602 777 6852. It's the same guy and he's a di*k.
I don't know what these idiots are doing but do not give them any info!

I got a phone call from this number this morning. Then I checked my phone again and it had about 5 other phone calls that I missed from different area codes..some were the same. Sounds like they are telemarketers. I had signed up for a free grant application which I have canceled (they are FRAUDS) and I think this is where they are coming from. They give your phone number out and they bombard you with calls. Tell them to take you off the list or you will report them. They are not supposed to call you if you have them take you off their list.

This is a phone number (one of who knows how many) from a company called Kids First, and the caller is David. I have recieved various calls from David, always with a different phone number and quite often from different states, but always the same guy (even when its in the same day). Calling the number back results in either a busy signal or it will wring once then go to an automated voice saying "Transfering to: after hours line" even just seconds after recieving the call. When last I spoke to David I told him that if I recieved another phone call from him I would be contacting the police and filing a phone harrassment charge against him. I asked him if he understood and he said that he did. I'm going to follow up on my threat since I went unheeded.

Some one called me from this number and I missed the call when I called back it rang and said it was transfering me to an after hours number. I hung up before anyone answered.

I have a theory.  I recently changed phone plans to pay-as-you-go, right after that these stupid calls started coming through. I've also had p-a-y-g plans before and I had a similar, but different experience.  The same phone companies set up these idiotic side businesses to call your phone and run up your minutes so that you have to purchase more minutes by the end of your term.  Think about it! It does not cost them any more to do this, but yet you wind up paying .25 - .50 per minute when you use the cell phone.  They will nickel&dime you just like cable, internet and all these other stupid services that now we cannot do without.

This number links to the Career Institute and somewhere online, you filled out a form giving out your contact info regarding higher education opportunities.

I got a call too, from this number and a few other numbers, and smss as well. This happened after I clicked a facebook ad about a gift card, and it made me enter details about myself, but then I didnt complete any of those silly offers and it kept showing ads. Eventually I gave up, but then it already recorded my details, and I keep getting calls about career courses and spam emails! Try and keep unsubscribing from these databases (emails and sms), and when they call, them them firmly to remove you off their lists, else you will take action!
Once they get your email id, it goes to soooo many different companies to offer their products! So annoying!...

Just (8:30 a.m.) received a call from this number.  Person asked for me by name, said that I filled out a form about online college classes--NO, NO WAY.  Then he said, "Oh, it must have been your request to work from home receiving in-bound phone calls."  NO, NO WAY AGAIN.

Told him we were on the Do Not Call List, and not to call here again, and to take this number off of their list.

Also, at the end, he started saying, well, you still qualify for some kind of gift card....

SCAMMERS!

I received a call from this number and I said that I was not available...screening the call and he said he would call back later.  I called the number back and it was an automated answering for college degree help...the people help you find a college.  I didn't speak to anyone when I called it back though.

Please dont call this TN again I dont know you nad you dont know me please stop calling me and screareing my son...

Just got a call here, said i filled out an online form. Identified himself as Nathan from the Career Institute.

When i said i didn't fill out the form he just went right along with trying to get me to sign up. I was very insistant in finding where this info came from, he said he didn't know but i could call 801 642 0241 to get the time and IP address.

Looking # he called me from, its the same one that i got at 8am and i ignored.

I got a few weird calls today about buying stuff online... they had my name, cell number, and my full address. I called my CC and turns out in the last 3 days i had 30 small charges that were NOT from me. Could be related or one of the places they bought from sold my information instantly to these guys.

He called and claimed I applied for online college courses, I said that I didn't. So he asked if I'd ever be interested, I said no. He then says that I'm prequalified for some kind of home security and to answer some questions and just proceeded to asked them. I think it's a scam.

I used to work for a survey company who sometimes calls cell phones also, if they are provided. If it is a business, we are required to put it under the do not call list. But if it's a survey, they would let you know always [we're not suppose to state it because usually people would hang up on us right away but I did just to point out I'm not telemarketing. We absolutely do not ask for any personal information, plus if you ask to be put on the do not call list - then it's done. BUT THESE PEOPLE WONT STOP CALLING! Does anyone know where they get our information?!

Oh and when I picked up, he didn't respond until about 10 seconds later! Whenever there's a pause, I always feel like it's a scam - especially if not greeted properly.

they have call me about 6 time saying sign up for a grant and did not and  i want it to stop now

I called it back it was a place that does college matching, if you have ever filled something out for that your on like a nationwide list; Since my number has not changed for almost 7 plus years, I get these calls alot that is why I have relegated myself to screening my phone calls.
