I've been getting calls from this number all morning. 6 total. No messages have been left and I haven't picked up but I tried calling it back and it isn't a working number. How do these people get personal cell numbers? This is so odd.

Got a call from this number. Saying that I filled out a credit report for a car. The only company that I used in recent history that is suspect of selling them my phone number is www.FreeCreditReport.com. Then I reported them here on this site and was offered a chance to reverse look up on the number for $.99. But whocallsme.com wants to charge me every month for a one time look up. I am now sorry that I submited my phone number to this website and expect to get more calls from some other company as they will probably sell my number to another scam company. Getting scammed by a company for reporting scammers.

I have filed 2 police reports.  They are also calling my job.  Nothing can really be donw. When the police called them back, it said it was a non-working number.  They had the nerve to call me right as the police officer was leaving my home.  I am changing my home number but I'm stuck with the office number.  

The police officer suggested getting an identify theft program for me. It costs but I am going to use it.  Keep making police reports every time.  The police is keeping track of the numbers and since it is like my fourth time at this, they are going to see how they can prosecute for this.

Good luck and sorry that anyone is going through this with the idiots.  And they, they call themselves some american name and their accent is like from India or one of those countries.

I got a call from this number saying owe $500 from a loan, but when i asked for who the loan came from, they couldnt answer. The man  was indian and was being very rude and angry. THIS IS A SCAM!!!

Calls me twice a day. Won't leave a message. Seems to belong to a cellphone in the San Francisco area.

I got a similar called today. The man claimed that he was an officer, name Kevin Smith, and that someone had filed a complaint against me. He called my job. Do not know how in the heck he got my job number!! He even threatened to send the police to my house.

I receive a call from 415-994-000, and its from San Francisco, California. The man has an Indian accent, he calls himself "Christ Morris" or "David Johnson". He said that he is calling from Homestead, Fl, and that I have a debt from a Payday loan company (which I never in my life have taken). I have received 6 or 7 calls from the same number. He wanted me to fax him my ID, SS card and DOB and also my credit or debit card information so I could pay off the balance of 246.63 in installments. He must be out of his mind. He mention that since I was denying the payment, they would have to take me to court. When I mention that my brother is a state attorney and that I wanted him to fax me the paperwork, the guy got VERY  "UPSET AND RUDE"....And Guess What?????....HE HANG UP ON ME....THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM...THIS PEOPLE HAS ALL YOUR INFORMATION...HE IS CALLING MY WORK PLACE...THEY ALSO HAVE MY LAST FOUR DIGITS OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER..OMG

I just got call from the same dude sayin his name is jeff. And a police officer. He called 2 weeks ago sayin hes from a lawyers office. Im keepin the voicemails. I called back and left a message not to call me and that i looked the number up and apprently they are tryin to get info from people and not to call me again. The number is 540-650-7602 from virginia and said its for a crime investigation. 3 days ago it was for a crime investigation in new york

Got 2 calls today and they left a voicemail message for a Johnny who isn't me saying that Johnny has a lawsuit pending and do not ignore the call or it will get worse. They need to get a life I'm tired of these people seriously SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting phone calls from this number, on a daily basis.  When I pick up, no one answers.. The calls come in the morning and all day.  Who is this person??  They don't answer, and when I try and call back, it states the number is not a working number,  How do they get my cell phone #?  This is a scam, and I think these are people from India, trying to get money that I do not owe on a payday loan.  Scammers,  I will put their number, on the "Do Not Call List"

Total 100 % scam if you get a call from these tools simply advise them your are filing a complaint with the FCC and FTC, they usually hang up and never call back again.

Several calls from this number answered only one time. Female suggested that I continue my education and how to do that.
Annoying and we do not need these phone calls disturbing us .   I wish it would stop

I once purchased some stuff from an on-line pharmacy for my dog, since then, this number kept calling my cell. The guy has an India accent. I asked him to remove my name from their call list.  They still phoned.

The online shop is called ABCpharmacy, website says they are in Canada, but the drug was made in India and shipped from the UK.

Keep getting calls from this number, doesn't leave a message, I don't answer it, wonder who it is!

I just got a call from the same number, no message, my phone also says it is from San Fran.   I would love for them to cal me back, so I can string them along.  With scammers, always give them the number for the US district Attorney's office, and tell them that is a better number for you to be reached at.

Or tell them you would be happy to pay, and when they give you the money gram/western union location just send them back a fake confirmation number, and they will go check the location they specified.  Tell them you must have sent it to the wrong location.

It is worth the time to BS these people around.  

Bottom line, don't worry about any debt collector, tell them you wish to be contacted only by mail, and that any further attempy to reach you via telephone will result in legal action (its your right to do this with any debt collector, by law).

I am soooo sick of these people!!  I have been getting calls at least twice a week from them for MONTHS!!  This is the third number they have called from but the same voice and they always ask for Michelle.  The time that they were trying to give me "free grant money" and I told them they had the wrong number, they said no they had the right number just the wrong name, then asked what my name is.  I don't think so!!!  It's usually the guy with the Indian accent, one time it was a woman.  I've even "had fun with them" a few times and they STILL call back!  UGH!!!!!

Rejected a call from this number as I didn't recognize it - they did leave a voice mail but unintentionally and had my first name (perhaps from my out going VMM). Anyhow - added them to the rejection list - my phone will automatically reject the call if they call back. After reading this - I'm considering taking them off the rejection list and having some fun when they call back!!!!  

Seriuosly - get a real job and stop scamming people with this bs... its wrong on so many levels!

I got a call from this number today tell me I owed $3000 from payday loans also... told me if I didnt go to court they would have the police arrest me with an arrest warrant, after saying I never received this money and I had bank records to prove it he said we will talk in court and the Attorney General would contact me with a court date in 24 hrs. I said does that mean tomorrow, he said yes... Well, I have news the Attorneys General does call anyone on Saturday. But he had the last four of my social as well... It was really scary.

I recieved a call today at 9:27 am. I did not answer but I returned the call at 9:42 am. I was informed that the number was a non working number. This same number also called on 11-03-2011
