I got a call from this guy too. He said he didn't need any "personal" information like my credit numbers, and then he asked for my address o.O

I just got a call from this guy with an Indian accent, he said his name was Max and he was with the claims department and i had been selected with 1500 other people to receive a grant for $7000.00. And i could could receive using one of three different ways, Give him my bank account #, pre-paid credit card #, or cash. He told me i had to call another # (202-436-9001) and give them this claim # he had given me , so when i called and started talking about what the other guy said  this guy hung up. Know when i tried to call  back the (415-994-0000) ) it says that it is not a working #. And the other Number it rings 3 times and goes busy. But the weird thing is the guy from the 415 number knew my last name.

Called me today said it was a legal matter! My god! They won' t stop!

I get calls from this number to my cell on a daily basis.  I don't answer and have not set up voice mail so they can't reach me and I refuse to spend the money to speak to them.  My cell is listed on the do not call registry so I will also report them there.

This # call me @ least 4 times a day.  I ignore it b/cuz it just doesn't look "official".  My instict was right.  Thanks for the posts :-)

thest are some sick people they need help theres no way to stop them you just have to be careful and watch out for people like this

So much for registering on the "do not call list"!  These people call me at least 5 times a day.

Keep receiving calls from this number stating that they have my application for a auto loan???? I keep telling them no, I am not interested--they replay then why did you complete this application I again tell them no take me off the list

This person calls, sounds like out of the country and asks me if I want ED meds or any other meds to be sent to me.  I have yelled, hung up and nicely asked to be take off their calling list but they do not.

I got a call from this number saying he (sounds like he isx from India) was from GFI Fraud Litigation department. I have had a variety of calls like this from various numbers and I ask them to send their paper work to me. They claim they have my social security number, which I do not confirm. I figure, if tney have that they have my address. To date, I have not received any documents indicating that I am being sued for fraud. How can I stop these calls on my cell phone

received 4 calls within a 2-hour period.  no msg left.  thanks for the heads up.  another scam call.

My husband is stationed in Afghanistan but this number showed up on my caller id when he called me yesterday! It's definitely not his number though....STR

I have been getting calls like this for two years. they call all day every day each time with a different number. they have an indian accent and threaten a law suit. i have no idea who they are but i don't both to answer. i have my phone set to hang up on any number that it does not recognize. they have to be stopped. does anyone have a clue how to stop them?

My grandma recived a call i told her his name was 'Officer Brown' She took the phone laughed heserically and said 'F U Officer Brown!!!'

Caller claimed to be Microsoft IT.  Said my computer was reporting a virus back to Microsoft.
Asked him to give me a number to call back and he hesitated.  Finally gave me a number.  When I dialed the number, it turned out to be a non-serviced number.

This guy who sounds Indian called several times to my cell phone and my work phone saying I have a pending law suit.  I told him with who and he could not tell me.  I hung up on him and he called back saying I could get in big trouble so I told him to send the Police to get me.

I got several calls today from an indian woman who claimed that my computer was under serious threat of a virus.  After I hung up she called back asking what happened and i hung up again.  after that she started calling from a restricted number and I played a kermit the frog soundboard and she sat there listening to it lol

got a call today from these people. The first one said that he was Alex Brown from Legal Department PCS, and that I needed to speak to his supervisor. His supervsor said that his name is John Wilson and that there is a legal proceeding against me, because of  loan that I recieved from Cash Advance USA. They have my social and my bank name and the interesting part is I didn't apply for or recieve a loan from them. Both had deep Indian accents.
