Got a call from this number,claiming that I have not responded from their messages.she said she was from CIBC bank.
as I don't have an account with CIBC and I told her not to call again,these people are not collector agency but fraudsters.

There are many of these companies that exist.  They "buy" up old debts from banks that the banks were unable to collect on.  This is why they have old information.  Telephone numbers that don't match the name they're looking for.  My experience with these and other "companies" are the same as what is described.  Very rude and threatening.  I just hang up.  I don't engage at all once they become hostile.  Don't play their game.

They phoned using an automated call logger, basically a program used by collections companies to reach as many people as possible, like harvesting a list. When you answer, it automatically plugs you into an agent and they ask who you are... If they don't know who you are, just stop answering and they eventually move on to the next number on the list. If they get aggressive just hang up and ignore.

I received a call from (416) 297-5901. it says Desjardin Financing. Why will someone call me from Desjardin Financing?  I don't owe anyone money and always pay my bills in full all the time.  I am not desperate to get financing either so please don't call me!

CCA keeps calling me and threating to call my work and take me to court.  I owe them nothing as my creditor closed my account 2 years ago

Received a phone call at my business from "AGENT 544" from number 416-297-7077 asking about a business next door to me. He acted as if he knew me, and wanted to know a few things about that particular business. He seemed upset that I would not answer his questions about that business owner (that he referred to by the first name).  I get very suspicious when unknown people from Ontario phone and act as if they know me.

I got a call from Aaron who claims to work for CIBC bank and look for a person whom I do not know.  He tried to get me passed the phone to our human resource.  I told him that he called the wrong number.  He became very aggressive, threat to call me again until I give him the information that he ask for.  Aaron harassed me on the phone with many RUDE words.

Pls let me know how I can STOP this man from hurting and disturbing me and other people in the same situation.

This has been ongoing for at least, the past 2 years. I don't answer calls from numbers that are not familiar to me. I've also received this 'same voice message' from other Canadian provinces phone numbers. I don't owe anyone any money.

I got everyday call from this number....saying is Bank of Montreal... few day I ignored, more messages saying is CIBC, then BanK Desjardins mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what a scammers... but they are so rude and annoying, what should I do to stop bothering me!!!

This number called, 1-416-297-7077 asked for someone called Jason.Asked whom are you he said some \Financial company.Or Credit Collection company.He the caller was fast smooth talker,Told him - person does not reside or live here,he says.he say you must be his Father ,I replyed NO I am not his Father and person does not live here,I said whom did you get this Info from,says cannot disclose info,I said you were give wrong Info.
Told him not to call back anymore or will call the Police

They as..oles call every day at 7-7{30 A.M. P.S.T. and [***] about a debt I paid off about 3 years ago!! I answered
thier call once, about 3 months ago, gave them the proof about my payment, but these a.s.oles keep calling. I guess the guy who called never submitted the info and needs his minimum wage, call center job !!

Received a call from 416 297 7077 with the caller ID as Agent 203 on Dec 1, 2017. I didn't answer, but a voicemail was left saying his name was Michael O'Leary calling from Common Collections looking for a Mr. Maureen ******** and wanted a call back at 1 888 851 8699 x203. I thought this was odd, so I called the 416 number to see what was up. Apparently I had an outstanding account with CIBC. I told Michael that, no I did not have an account with CIBC, but the information they had on me matched, except for the address (which only partially matched), the phone number on file, work place and work number (he gave me this info, I did not give him the correct info). I told him I never opened up the account with CIBC and have never banked with them. He thought it was also odd that it was under a MR. and I was clearly female. He told me to contact CIBC and I asked if he had a number I could call. He gave me this number 1 800 850 3662. I thought it was really fishy, so instead of calling the number he gave me I just looked up CIBC's number off their website and gave them a call. The number Michael gave me (which I looked up later) was just another collections agency hired by CIBC. When I called CIBC I told them about the call I received that morning and they confirmed that yes indeed an account was opened up in my name in September of this year. They confirmed my DOB, and my SIN, then told me to go to the bank with my ID to get this cleared. I went to the bank furious, and when I spoke to someone, they said there wasn't much they could do unless I went to the police. The looked at my driver's license and even confirmed my signiture. My identity has  been stolen, but whoever stole it fudged up on a couple things. I have called Eqifax (1 800 465 7166), Trans-Union (1 800 663 9980) and the police, but the police officer I spoke with told me that there was nothing they could do except make a report anyways. He said that CIBC has their investigators and they will take care of it. Lovely right? Now my name is flagged incase this person who has stolen my ID tries to do something again. Now my credit is f***** until these investigators do something about it...
