Keeps calling but leaves no message.

the caller is a K Patel, I have received a call from this person on  Dec 8, 2009 and it was a hang up, I called back and received a message center unavailable and no answer from the phone.  Through my searches this person lives at  154 Painted Post Dr. (Scarborough)Toronto, ON M1H 1T7

funny - i just got the same number on my call display and when i answered, noone was there. caller id 416 431 8827.

Just got a call from them.  Shop-Co foods.  She was nice and speaks clearly, but her phone was cutting out.

I just got a call from this number. It sounds like they offer a grocery service with delivery to home.

I rarely get tele-marketing calls at home. I wonder how they got my number?

Got call from this number but no one on the other end so I just hung up. Telemarketers should be banded. Wish there was something I could hook up to my phone that will auto delete my number from their list. If anyone out there knows of any program/gadget to zap phone # from their list, please let me know through this blog.

I get a phone phone cal from these people twice a day for a month now wanting to sell be groceries wholesale. Doesn't matter how many times I've said "no Thanks", they just don't get the message. Today I had seen the same number pop-up on display before I answered it and decided to do something different. I said "Major Crimes Unit, Fraud squad, What's Up?". Worked, no reply and now we'll see!

they called my number today and hung up. I called the number shown here and asked to be removed though i'm sure all i did was get my number sent to every arsewipe telemarketer in the country.

I have been receiving calls from them since I first moved into my house almost a year and a half ago.  Everytime I get a person I ask them to remove me from their calling list since their service doesn't apply to my household (they deliver bulk amounts of food to households with 3 or more people).  Today I got FIVE calls from them in one day!  ARG!!  Give it up people.  I will be calling their head office tomorrow to complain about harassment!

I got a call from this number 6 times in one evening. Report them to the Canadian DNC List if you are on it.

Kept telling him I wasn't interested... he kept cutting me off and talking over me.  He wanted 15 minutes of my time to compare my costs for groceries... told him wasn't interested yet again... said "you're not interested in saving money??"  I said no thanks... he hung up on me.

I get calls from this number and when I answer no one responds. Now I just keep calling them back over and over again just to piss them off. No one answers of course but hopefully it's at least annoying to them.

Simple! If you have high speed internet, sign up with Primus Home Phone (over half the cost of Bell) and you'll be able to block any number you want right from your computer. I've had Primus for over 2 years now and I'm super happy! I have a ton of numbers on my block list and my phone rarely rings anymore.

they called under 416-439-5688 at 6:48 pm and a male telemarketer tried to sell home delivered groceries.. No thanks worked then fine and he hung up.  then at 8:25 pm, 416-431-8827 called and nothing on the line at all.

416-431-8827 is: Beefeater Food Provisioners.
They have violated the CRTC Unsolicited Telecommunications Rule.

I suggest anyone else that receives a call from this number consider doing the same. It's a bit of a lengthy process but worth it in my opinion.

A female called from 416-431-8827. She asked if she was speaking to...and had my name. I asked who was calling and she provided this company name:

I asked her if she was familiar with the DNCL. She said, "Yes, is your number on it?"

I just filed a complaint with the DNCL as well -- I'm getting tired of all the calls -- I understand that most of them are just hard-working individuals trying to earn a living, but if I have to follow the rules and not phone solicit, then SO SHOULD THEY! ... What's the point of the Do-Not-Call List if no one pays any attention to it? It's our hard earned tax dollars that are paying for it, and NO ONE is getting charged, yet I get at least a dozen telemarketing calls a week and I have been on the list since day one -- I have finally given up and started filing complaints. Maybe if enough people took the 2 or 3 minutes to file a complaint, we might actually get some results!

Person calls does not answer and hangs up. When you return the calls the box is full. Creeps
