Just got the same call as everyone else. Weird

This number has been appearing on my call display four days in a row. I haven't picked up since I'm on the DNCL. I just filed a complaint with the CRTC and called NCC back. Apparently, newspaper promotion companies are exempt from the list, however you can still tell them to remove your number from their internal list, which is what I did. I told them if they called again, I'll spread the word on blogs, local papers etc. They shouldn't be "exempt". They are not a political party or a charity.

i have several calls every day from NCC Inc, during the day, evenings, weekends.
I don't pick it up, they never leave a message. I was just courious who are they and found this post.
How to stop this?

Do this:  

The president of the toronto star is John Cruickshank.  Call him at home (416)-966-1424 and tell him how you feel about being bombarded by unwanted calls at your home.  Leave him a message if he does not pick up.

STOP calling me three times a day, weekends, evenings, early morning, late at night!  416-630-5150   I'm not interested!!!!  I've told you that repeatedly.  I'm on the  "do not call" list.  Leave me alone.

Yes this is a company selling the Toronto Star.  Nice guy but no sale here.  I never bothered to mention that I was on the do not call list but will advise the CRTC just the same.

He was polite and when I advised that I wasn't interested he said thank you and that was it, call over.

Sometime a little courtesy goes a long way for both parties.

I don't want anymore calls from 416 630 3150

I get calls from NCC. inc from a different number = 416-360-5158.  I get  at least one a day but more often two or three per day.  I have got to the stage I don't bother answering their calls but I sure would like to know how to stop them.

They are calling me also, starting at 8 in the morning many times a day.

416-6305150 is the telemarketer for all the newspapers and even if you put your number in at the National Do Not Call List they are exempt because they are "newspaper".  

The good news is that you can call 416-630-6658 and ask them to put your number on their Internal Do Not Call List. Worth a try.

Rec'd Toronto Star everyday for a month, never requested it nor read it.  Damn weekend paper nearly tore the mailbox off the house.  Now NCC calls everyday, glad to see I'm not the only one.

I kept getting calls from this number and so I called them back & asked to be removed from their calling list...a woman made a note and said it would be removed.  

Its obviously some annoying telemarketing agency.

Please stop calling NCC Inc.
