These people keep calling over and over again to my OTTAWA, Ont. number. It's too bad we can't get their number and do the same.

I've gotten three calls last week from this number.  The last one was on a Friday night at 10:30pm Toronto time?!  What gives?  Thanks to the people who found it who it was for the rest of us.  I definitely won't be answering the phone when that number appears.

Same thing for me, they called me all the week, but i was at work. i missed the calls, but every day they call me. Wierd thing! I'm in Montreal.

its IVM promotional department selling Globe and Mail subs in my case, press 1 and ask to be put on their Internal DNC list (do not call)

I just got a call today, no message.
I block the  phone number on my cordless phone.
That is one solution.

I reported as a complaint it to the CRTC as I was subscribed to their list. In that case, they could investigate and that telemarketer shoudn't call again. I suggest you to do the same: https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/plt-cmp-eng

call the number. wait till you get a customer service. CSR will start by asking the number they called. dont panic or be a jerk to him. just give him the number. he will confirm your last name. At at this point i told him that i dont wanna be called and CSR put me on no call list and gave me a confirmation number.

This number continues to call my office NON STOP!! Whenever I answer, I can hear the click of the person on the other end hanging up. THIS IS A PLACE OF BUSINESS STOP CALLING HERE!!!!

Annoying daily calls, no voice at the other end, not normal.

Why doesn't the DO NOT CALL ME stop them from calling people.

I got several calls from this number and after coming up empty when using 411 I decided to call it back (after blocking my own phone number from appearing).  It was a customer service center who calls on behalf of the Globe and Mail.

If this is the Globe and Mail promotional department, their method sucks.  When you answer the phone, there's no one there... how exactly do they expect to get subscribers if they don't speak???  lol

Try a free telemarketer blocking software. Or let your provincial or state. Ministry or government office of business look into it. You will get better results.
