Calls almost everyday while i'm not home..... I'm just wondering who the [***] it is :S

This number calls ALOT. Hangs up everytime. When you call it back it either rings and then is silent or you get a busy sigal. What do we do about this?

I am ready to shoot them thru the phone!!!!!!!!!This si total bull####!!!!
Can't wait untill this country finally gets its crap together and says the don't call me agian law as it is in the States.

I get calls from this number everyday and no one talks.????

Called my home number @ 19:57 on Apr 10, 2008. I picked it up on the third ring, no one was on the other end after 3 seconds from me picking up, so I hung up. I'm in Hamilton, ontario

well, I've just recieved a call from this number, but my mom said it definatly sounded like a business man because he said "good afternoon m'aam, you and your neighbor..." and the line went dead.. and a few weird things have been going on at school so I just wanted to check the number on google and I found out all this :| good lord, if this really IS the Toronto Sun or whatever then I think someones been hacking into that number because if they're calling people but there's a deadline, or lots of people in the background, I highly doubt that it's the Toronto Sun who has been calling all these people.

I answered.  (lots of background nosie) The guy said "Good Morning, can I speak to Mrs. abc".  I said "speaking, who is calling".  It went silent (no background noise) for a moment.  I said "Hello?".  The guy hung up the phone.

it's just telemarketers. i recently found out about these complaint pages so typed in the # into google and found this place.
yes they asked for my parents and i said 'not right now', called back to see what would happen and fast busy signal. like someone said: it's IP phantom phone lines. THEY will call YOU, and not the other way around. haha at least the girl on the phone sounded very hotttt

This is the message I sent to the phone provider...>Allstream. I suggest those of you who are having a problem, go through them.  Lets see how they liked being harassed.  Obviously Allstream decided not to do anything about it and again today that number calls again. Remember, there is strength in numbers, and the more people that send emails, phone calls or make contact with Allstream the more likely they are to do something about it.

A telemarketer is continuously calling my residential line. I either get a hang up in my ear or nothing at all and then they hang up.  I have tried to call this number back and ask that they refrain from calling, however it rings twice and hangs up on me, or there is a quick busy signal. Upon looking up this phone number it is listed as a land line supplied by Allstream. If you visit website www.whocallsme.com and  type in this number 416-646-8801 there is a ton of information regarding the harassment from this number. I ask that you get in touch with your client and remind them of the privacy laws and the harassment laws in this country and that they refrain from contacting my home again. If this is not dealt with I will post your contact information on this blog and direct all of these people to contact you with their issues.  You could probably do without this type of client...it certainly doesn't reflect positively on Allstream.

I have received about a dozen of calls from 416-646-8801 and have also written and e-mail to allstream.  If allstream does not respond by Monday, I will file a formal complaint with the CRTC.

they called again, no answer, no answer when i called back either.
googled it, and found that i already reported this number on this page. now i remember what the # is for...

Told them no once, next time I will say yes and give them my fake address(I moved lol). At least with those annoying credit card applications, I can send them all my junk mail in the return envelope
