i get a call from this number about twice a day for the last two weeks...everyone in my house is getting annoyed...instead of calling the police i suggest call CRTC...they will charge the company about 1500 dollars...for each complaint they get...that way this company can do something so that its not dead air wen they call other customers...

it's a telemarketing company - this time it was on behalf of the toronto star.

I am calling that number back all the time now lOL! imagine if everyone did?

A telemarketer is continuously calling my residential line. I either get a hang up in my ear or nothing at all and then they hang up.  I have tried to call this number back and ask that they refrain from calling, however it rings twice and hangs up on me, or there is a quick busy signal. Upon looking up this phone number it is listed as a land line supplied by Allstream. If you visit website www.whocallsme.com and  type in this number 416-646-8801 there is a ton of information regarding the harassment from this number. I ask that you get in touch with your client and remind them of the privacy laws and the harassment laws in this country and that they refrain from contacting my home again. If this is not dealt with I will post your contact information on this blog and direct all of these people to contact you with their issues.  You could probably do without this type of client...it certainly doesn't reflect positively on Allstream.

In short I don't want to buy anything so [***] off and stop calling

i get a call from this phone number EVERYDAY.  I pick up and they don't say anything you could hear someone's on the phone, but they're just quiet.  They're really pissin me off

I picked up the phone and it sounded like some guy pretending to be a woman.  They said "yes, yes you can do it, I know you can"!  I could hear people in the background like it was a call center.  I hung up, and it called right back.  I didn't answer, but when I tried to call the number back it rang, but disconnected.  I think some lame person is crank calling from a call center.  I'd like to find out who, and get that stupid person fired!

Got a call from several time no one answer. Whenever I call back hange on me.

It's Toronto Sun btw. Apparently they were trying to sell me something, but they hung up as soon as I picked up the phone. I called the number back, but it's long distance and I'm not going to wait 20 minutes to talk to some bloody representative.

We've receieved several calls from this number. We dont live in toronto.
It is out of service when we call back.

They have called a few times.  Usually, there is no one there.  Today, a human asked for "Mr. or Mrs..." with lot's of noise in the background.  They couldn't even hear me with all the noise and asked me again if they were speaking to "Mr. or Mrs...", so I realized that they have a crappy call centre system, crappy office, and crappy phoneset and I didn't want to waste my time with whatever crappy product they were shilling.  Next time, they will listen to my TV until they hang up.
