hello i reiceved a sms about a bike i am selling he wanted to no about history and about servicing reports.from  the same mobile number that all you other people have had text from so if any body can help to stop this person being a public nusience.please leave a message and then hopfully this person can be stoped.                                          thank you kitty

We got 10 messages from that number today, always with a code and the info WhatsApp.. besides the message, we receive also calls every hour... (answering machine that repeats the code etc..)

wow, I'm so glad I found this site and forum, I am selling my Harley and got a text from +41798073040, msg reads: "Greg: May i knw ur bike's service history and confirm your current asking price to g.hayes@blumail.org"
Scarey stuff, exactly the same as yours Kirstina, He wants my bank details to pay the amount into my account, which I'm not stupid enuf to give him, so now he wants my paypal details and thank goodness I didn't and found this first.
He has emailed me a few times and even emailed me a copy of his drivers license, one email telling me he is a biologist working at sea out of Darwin and when I questioned the phone number he said he was using a sat phone and that his real mobile number was 0402460801 but that it was disconnected at the moment
Why do these a**holes have to do this to innocent people selling legitimate stuff, makes me so angry, but thank you to you all .. you stopped and saved me from sending him my paypal details :) thanks guys

i just got the same message for my trike

I just received a message from +41798073040 which said WhatsApp code 3dig code.  I texted back asking who it was although now reading this site I hope I wont be charged major fee's. Didn't reply.

Then I received a call from a private number picked it up and it repeated a verification number and then hung up on me. So I decided to call the number that texted me and it spoke in an Asian language then French and then in English "this number is disconnected".

I don't know what's going on or who it is. Everyone keeps saying its this company or that but does anyone actually know?

Have had a text from this number saying he wanted to buy my item that I was advertising and could I email him at jadson@blumail.org    this is a real scammer.  he talks only of the item as he sends this email to anyone that is selling and its too hard to change the item name all the time.  wants to pay by paypal then he pays an extra$1100 but wants me to pay $1000 by western union agent for pick up.  Not falling for this but stringing him along.  Says he wants the item for a gift for his father. This is a vehicle that I am selling also.  He has not asked one question about the car or wanted a test drive or anything which made me very suspicious.  who buys a car for $12500 just off a net ad.   his email IP says he is in Mountain View California.  tells me he is in Australia on an oil rig and that is where the item is for sale.  His pick up agent is in the UK and have just asked him where his father is.  the cell ph search tells me he is in Missouri

This person has contacted me in the past few days regarding an item I have for sale on Gumtree. Sends the same text asking the condition, then offers to pay more for the item? I was sent a fake email from PayPal saying that the person has sent me the money but it won't come through until I pay the transport company! Yeah RIGHT! I have contacted the real PayPal and forwarded the emails to the fraud department. Definitely a dodgy person that I hope is caught.

I just got a text from this number (I am in the UK but using my Australian phone) saying ".: Your Mobile Number won you 415,000GBP in the Nokia Ovi Promo,for details of claim email: mattbrady46@ovi.com & Call: +447031740680" I'm trying to figure out which website I've used that I gave a copy of my mobile number to. It also seems disturbing that they're possibly aware I'm in the UK....
