Hi, I was wondering, is there a way you can check that this number is using Click A Tell? Also is it worth filling out one of their 'No Spam' forms regarding this number or will I just be wasting my time?

I just got a 2 texts from the number +41 79 807 3040 saying: "Booking No: 19530038; Password: allblacks. Have a great trip!"
It's super-weird. +41 is the Swiss area code and I am Swiss. What makes it really weird is the fact that I'm off to NZ in a few weeks.

I got a sms from this telephone number, inquiring about my car for sale. He wanted me to reply via email at j.russell580@gmail.com I replied to him about the service history ect and he was willing to offer me the full price even after I had reduced the car. He claimed to be a biologist out at sea and wanted my bank account details wich I gave him. I then got another email from him claiming that  he wanted to pay $AUD 700 to his courier through western unions transfer and that he would also deposit that to my bank account immediately. The name of the transfer is: Jamie R Johnson, address Tipton, West Midlands, Post Code DY4 8EZ, Country UK. I agreed as he told me that it was all going to be deposited. When I got up thismorning to check my email there was a msg from "paypal' claiming that there was $2500 waiting to be processed into my bank account and that I, myself would have to pay the $700 to the Western Unions Transfer and respond back to there email with a Money Transfer Control Number, senders name and address used to make the transfer, and as soon as I get back to them with that information they will deposit the $2500 in full. I sent an email to John, regarding this and to tell him that I could not pay for the transfer out of my own pocket, and he responded asking me to borrow the money or try to get a loan for it as he wanted the car and he had already organised a courier to take it to Darwin in Australia. Alarm bells where ringing and I sent an Email response to paypal about it and they sent one back stating the only way to get the AUD$2500 was to pay the $700 via Western Money Transfer and that if I called I would proberbly not be able to get an accurate response, They assured me of there 100% safety on the transaction and they URGE me to make the payment IMMEDIATELY, and that status of the transaction WILL NOT BE MONITERD BY THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SECTION. They then go on to say that if there is any refusal from me to act upon the receipt of this payment notice, they will not hesitate to take legal action against me, as this is just a way to ensure PayPal for all our customers worldwide. Please understand that this is a securety measure intended to help the buyer and the seller on this transaction, and we appologise for any inconvinence this may have caused. PayPal WILL be responsible for any loss or damage during the course of this transaction.
I then emailed j.russell580@gmail.com back to tell him to cancel the transaction as I did not have the $700 and appologised and stated that if I knew that I had to pay money from my own pocket I would not have accepted his offer. He percisted and asked again to borrow the money. I replied no and that I am selling yhe car to someone else. The last email i recieved from him was that he was going to report me and seek legal action as he would not recieve his money back immediately.

+41798073040 sent me a msg after i clicked on youtube to upload bigger files, it was nothing more then a verifycation, this number is just from a free text service that google is connected with im guessing, nothing to worry about, what could it possible do any harm, ever tought about it that some people just enter random numbers when are asked for private stuff, the chance that you guyz find eachother on this website by  checking google where the number comes from is bigger then the chance you got screwed over sms, if you didn't subscribe to anything don't bother such texts, if its calling you don't answer, and if it keeps repeating, you have like a good reason to buy a new phone again, i think you guyz are just subscribing to everything that is free online with ur phones!

I got this message from this number "GREG HAYES: Hi, I'll be glad if you send me your bike service history & your firm price to hayesgmen@gmail.com"

I got this message after posting an Ad to sell my bike on gumtree. When you send the details he requested to this email, he will tell you that he is somewhere overseas and cannot come in person or give you a call and that he will pay you only by Pay Pal..

This is a scam!! To get more details google “Gumtree Paypal Scam”

    ******SCAM BE VERY CAREFUL******
My Sister got this SMS last night from the same mobile number around midnight Australian time From a Bradley Kingston <bradleyking79@gmail.com, it was regarding her Ad in the paper for a labrador pup she has for sale. wanting her to advise the least she is selling the pup for and to get back to them via email with her PayPal account name, PayPal acct email, Contact Address so that payment could be sent to her as soon as possible, cause they really need the puppies as companion in the UK. and telling her that they will inform the shipping agent to call us as soon as we get things cleared.
Told her to be very careful, as we Tried consistently ringing the number but it automatically disconnects and comes up with no response.
