First of all, DPSS never call you  - DUE to these SCAMS-they send out letters . The DUMB ASS SCAMMER trying to convince you through using CAPS is the tip off folks.

First of all, the DPSS will NEVER call you and ask you ANYTHING unless it is your CASE WORKER who has your accurate CASE NO. Also the DPSS put out the following statement regarding these SCAMMERS: (copy n paste the link into your search browser:

Exactly- DPSS only call during business days AND might I add, they will HAVE your case number - IF they don’t - HANG UP. Btw, a case worker will ONLY call you if you met with them recently and you are expecting a call back - again KNOW your case number - this is key and KNOW your current case worker .

Received a call, on 4/6/21 saying they were with Dept. Of Social Services and they needed me to fax my 2020 tax return to them. They needed me to fax all the pages in my tax return. When I asked why they did not send me a letter about this, they explained that their system was updated on March 31, 2021 and they were updating their case files. I needed to send my tax return or my eligibility will be terminated. I explained I mailed in the packet in January, with my 2019 Tax info because I had not filed my 2020 taxes. They explained that the new system required 2020 tax info and I needed to send it ASAP. Eventually they realized I was not going to fall for this and told me they would use my 2019 return and hung up.

I had a few calls from this number, answered no response, call back and only heard a "Los Angeles County Dept. of Social Svcs." message, funny thing is that you can text back on this number. I don't think you can usually do that on an official LA county service number.

I have 4 missed calls from this number on Sunday Mid afternoon DPSS for what I know don’t work weekends and this morning at 5:30am I have 6 missed calls from this same number as well what should I do call my worker to make sure everything is fine with my case or exactly how do I go about any of this your opinions will be highly appreciated Thank you!!!

Also they don’t call from 424-405-7103 then when I block it they call from 424-405-5908 and don’t leave a message they’ve called me 8 times since yesterday afternoon anyone can lookup extra food stamp benefit date it’s the 8th of this month and why hasn’t anyone called in the last year we’ve been getting it it is obvious!! Plus they send you a letter before they call you

Possible Shill Post Reported. It's a Saturday night and you are prowling around and posting back to support a suspected shill who was here in 2019?  Nope, too many posts here going against you. Numbers and names can be spoofed in people's Caller ID. And I see other shill posts have been removed by Admin.
