I received ten voice messages from IMR. These they want a ccall back concerning a court case in another's name, I have no court cases. They give a state case number, none found.  I really want to answer then and just tell this BS, but it's always late at nigh. I'm on do not call, but that's an empty con game by the state and Feds.

I received a message from a John Hansen, senior mediator with IMR. He stated that I or my attorney needed to contact him right away before my case was set to officially file. Now I do have debts; however I've never received a notice from IMR (and I don't ignore those), plus you cannot threaten legal action like that. I did call back and a young lady answered the phone who sounded clueless. Cheesy music and then voicemail. I am not calling back and not worrying. I've received more scams since going on the Do Not Call List.

Calling me like crazy threaten court action

In the past two days have received five calls from these people.  They are saying my husband owes a debt of $12,000 and threatening with lawsuits.  Won't tell us what the $12,000 is from or for.  When I explained to him the SOL in CA is four years and since we have had two refi's in the past seven years and our credit is spotless with no collection debt what-so-ever, so he is full o'[***].....he screamed at me that court is a done deal yada yada YADA, then hung up on me.

If there is nothing on your credit bureau's, there isn't a damned thing they can do......except harass you by phone.

Next time they call you fom this number 425-670-8405 just say: " Did you know that you're working for FREE and you will never get pay for all these phone calls you're making?"  "Call me back on your payday"

I received a call from Dave Carter (seems like they make up random Carter names). He goes on about notice of intent prior to the formal processing of case number of CAblahblahblah. He gives 425-776-5092 as a call back.

Just got a call from these guys from one "Chad Butler". Telling me that I had to pay 8,000 of of a credit card debt from a credit card that I have not had in 13 years, with only a 2,000 limit! When I had asked them to send me  information they asked me for an email address to send the information to. I waited and waited, and never got it. I also looked up what my legal rights are and lo and behold the statute of limitations in NYS is 6 years! In any case I decided to call them back and explain this to them,  the moment I said the word statute he started having problems hearing me, and said he had to check his phone and will call me back. Then one Erica Welti calls me back and explains that statutes of limitation are only for reporting to credit bureaus,  at which I explained that no Collection Agency can collect the debt on a that exceeds their stats statute, to which she responded well, we're not a Collection Agency, we're an investment firm, to which I said you can't sue me, to which she said, we're not suing you, it's a civil case. I told her to send me some documentation and I will look into it. So A few minutes later I get an email, with this very phony looking legal document,

I also noted that the Erica Weiti was in Human Resources, and not the title she gave me over the phone.

Of note is that they called my mother as well. Right before they called me. They have a lot of information about me and that is scary.

A scam call  Claimed I owed $3000+ on an AMEX card.  I told the jerk I was on to him.  He then crudely threatened me with court action.

The guy would not give me his name.  Said I owed money on a credit card for a car loan.  Funniest thing because I have never financed a car in my life.  And my car is 16 years old.  I get this type of call or ones to reduce the interest rate on my credit card, etc. all the time.  I just block them on my home phone or label them as junk on my cell.  Sure wish there was some way to get rid of them for good.

I received a call yesterday from my mother-in-law in Virginia. She told me that she had received a phone call from a guy asking about me, I'm in Texas. She said that she didn't know how he got her number or what he wanted but he said he was from INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT and I could contact him at 425-670-8405.
When I got home I looked up the name with the number and eventually got this site. I am so glad that I decided to look the number up rather than call it.

Same here. My mother-in-law in Virginia called to tell me that she received a call for me, ( I'm in Texas) from this number 425-670-8405.

I just recd phone call from this number.  They wanted to speak to my husband, and I asked if I could help them.  The man told me his company name, Investment Management, and that his company was filing a lawsuit again my husband to collect money he owed.  I told him that I wished him good luck, as my husband has been dead for over two years.  Silence.  Then, he wanted to know who the executor of the will was...I told him to just stop talking, that I knew this was a bogus/scam call, and if he said one more word, or even thought about calling my number back, I would be contacting the office of attorney general in my state to report them, and my personal attorney to find out how much they would owe me after a successful lawsuit against them.   I know that my husband did not owe anyone for any historic debt, that I am sure of...not at the time he died, nor during his lifetime.  What a bunch of scumbags.
