Definitely from Liberty - they surprised me because I got a call them from on Christmas and New Year's - and it was not on my caller list.

Call my home number about everyday. I called them back and the woman who finally answered just hung up on me. WTF! I went on their web site and did a "Live Chat" (probably with a machine) and the response was that my number was removed. We'll see. Who would even consider going to LUO after such crap?

You have to give you're number to them or something affiliated to them. I gave them my information almost a year ago when searching for colleges. Thus they have my information. Yes they will call a million times and not give up but I did give it to a college help site that they got it from.

That's just a dumb thing to say.  Liberty does not "pay" people to come on sites like this and comment.  If they are calling you, YOU gave them your number at some point.  Just call them back and ask them to remove your number.  Geez.  So much bitterness!

It's an opt-in call. If you received, you agreed (somewhere) to receive info from them. This request exempts organizations from the Do Not Call list, although changes are coming to that system.

As for repetition of calls, everyone these days uses an automated system, so if you ignore it, the system will mark it as a "not-home" and try to call back another time. Computers tend to not "get the hint," so personal interaction is needed, even if you have to wait for a little bit for the computer system to connect you with a human or start a pre-recorded message that ends in being connected with a human.

You're assumptions are quite the opposite. I am not a bid supporter of liberty. How you interrupted that from my comment is beyond me. I knew this because I called to find out who it was and that was what they told me. I would get out of the assumption business if I were you.

Some of these schools are very persistent. You're right it would piss me off so bad that they were continually calling that I would probably not to go their school. If I want to pursue you I'll call you but when I ask that you stop calling me you need to respect that. I too am from Greensboro. Hope they take you off the list.

From Liberty College online...I was interested in having information mailed to me...they jumped the gun and called like I wanted to sign up. BTW Liberty is a Christian College...totally not for me.

434-592-4309 - This number belongs to Liberty University Online.  I was talking with them about potentially enrolling for online classes, have decided to go a different way, and they will not stop calling.  It is a computer - there is no live person - the computer says you need to enroll as class are filling up quickly. These people are worse than high-pressure car salesmen!  I'm going to report them to the FCC.

They call very early in the morning and late at night. Never leave a voicemail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STOP CALLING VERY FRUSTRATING NEVER SAY ANYTHING

Very true; I spoke to them regarding possibly registering for classes there, and I receive at least one call per day.  It is a bit frustrating the number of calls they put out.

Prerecorded message from Liberty University. I never give this number out, so they must be robodialing. Thank goodness for call blockers!
