i did call and tell them to stop calling and i still get calls, real f'n annoying

Online College. I gave them my numberthrough an online college survey and they called. Wished they would have left a message. Only seems fair that they should identify themselves.

Sorry to disillusion you, but I have never given them my number, but they call constantly.  They are either cold calling or buying cell numbers from someone else.

I never do any type of internet inqueries about colleges and. When I answer they ask for a middle eastern name. Please take my number off your calling list.

Obviously to those that keep saying "Take me off your list" - Have you made an effort to contact Liberty, ask them how they received your number and to please remove your name and number? Obviously not, since you are posting HERE to ask that? I highly doubt Liberty ( or any other business or service ) is looking here for you to remove your name.

Sometimes, a little effort goes a long day.

Liberty University is not a scam and they got your number somehow ( By you, a family member, friend, online college recruitment site, etc ) or you are or were a student. Just call them ( they are listed online and a lot of places ) and ask them nicely.

This number calls my house everyday and willl not stop it is very aggravating!!!

The technology exists and it's fairly inexpensive for an individual to tap into someone else's phone line and make calls 'from' their phone. Not saying that all these calls are are part of Liberty being victimized, but my daughter's ex 'tapped' into my daughter's phone line and made calls 'from' her phone number to numbers of her friends (and who knows who else). He'd leave all kinds of horrible messages and communicate all kinds of lies to her friends claiming he just wanted them to 'know what my daughter really thought of them', such horrible things that many friendships could never be repaired. She also found out he was using her number to conduct 'shady' business. The phone company told her there were aware that such practices were not only possible, but it only required a fairly inexpensive device that could be purchased almost anywhere AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT! The only options, it seems, is to change our phone number to prevent it from being used like that. On the receiving end, most phone companies have 'call blocking'. That seems to work .... until they use a different number, which also has to be blocked.

I have received 4 phone calls from this number and thankfully MR. number blocks it, who is this and why are they calling

Thanks for this information.  I do remember now.  Several months ago I signed up online to win an IPAD from Liberty Online.  Since then I've received 2 or 3 calls a day, sometimes leaving a voicemail.  I currently have 2 graduate degrees, so I don't know that I'd be interested in (or could afford) any more education.  Oh, and I did not with the IPAD.  :(

I am not sure who this is but it is getting annoying! THey keep calling me and then hanging up as soon as I answer! It needs to stop.
