Calls periodically -
Microsoft scam in the past, today he said it was the FBI.
I could not understand what he was then mumbling, and he hung up.

noticed a missed call on my phone ,  looked and saw a name '' BRADLEY RAYMOND '' , punched up the # on my computer and saw all the scam alerts .  this could be away of trying to make it look legit

Got a call from an Indian man with a thick accent.  There was a lot of noise in the background.  He told me that I needed to turn on my PC so he could run a diagnostic. He said his company was contracted by Microsoft to do this work.  I didn't do this and hung up.  The number he called from and the number he provided didn't match.

The same thing happened to me except the lady said i qualified for 7000 dollars in a grant money. She confirmed the info, gave me this number to call. I called it and they wanted me to go to any money gram store and when i got there call them and get the info and i also had to have 280 cash. Scam alert!!

goverment needsa to shut these idiots down!!! not our workers;; ive called the district attorney for pa. and others  they say they cant do anything because these scammers are using electronics to avoid  being caught;; best to just read id  if you dont recognize the caller # dont pick up they usually only  ring 2 to 4 rings then stop DO NOT ANSWER OR GIVE ANY IMFO TO THOSE YOU DONT KNOW    ;;;;NOT A BIT OF IMFO!!!! DONT ANSWER PHONE UNLESS CALLER ID SHOWS AND YOU KNOW THE CALLER AS LEGITIMATE;;

Called and said he was going to give me $9,200 government money

Thick accent called early am could not understand him. Told him we had a bad connection and he hung up!

Got this call from Asian accent person who does not speak good English telling me that my computer had been hacked by a foreign country.  I told him that I did not trust him.  He said that he could help me and if I needed help to call him at (315) 352-4191.  His number appeared on my TV as:  ATT  499-286-9841.  I assume  that was to make me think that ATT was callling me.

Phone number identified as "ATT".  Caller said my computer identified as having a problem.  Hung up.

This tool keeps calling then he hangs up when you answer!!

An East Indian man says I,have a virus on my computer,and he will fix it for a fee.I wasn't born yesterday,and this scam has been going on for a couple of years now,so I hung up..

Received call consistent with history on thread.  Number shows as "ATT", loud call-center environment.  Caller (foreign  accent) says he is with "Windows IT", and that they are following up on windows errors being sent from my computer.  I asked if he was from Microsoft and he repeated that he is with "Windows IT".  I told him I do not run windows, and that it sounded like a scam.  He grumbled and hung up.

They called using my name saying that my windows  operating system was sending them virus messages. When I confronted him and asked who he was and his company name .. He hung up!

Caller ID said ATT which is my phone service provider.
Caller was in a very noisy busy call center, had very heavy accent and was hard to understand.  He said he was located in Washington DC.  He told me I had been approved to receive a government grant of $9,000 which I didn't have to repay.  He knew my name and address which was a little scary.  
Of course he needed a bank account number so the money could be transferred within the next twenty minutes.  I was giving him a bit of a hard time about how I wanted my grant money so he said I should talk to a commissioner.  He gave me a number to call, 202-621-0948 and a grant approval number D678 and said I could speak to Mr. Matthew or Mr. David.  I never called the number as I became tired of playing the game.

Male with heavy accent called me this morning saying he was from Microsoft and needed to help me with my computer because I have a virus so I told him I'm not interested and hung up. Couple of hours later he calls back and tells me its urgent that I get to my computer so he can assist me, I asked how he got my information and he wouldn't answer however he does have my number, first and last name so I asked him for the company's number that I will call them back to help me because I can't confirm who he was and I would not be giving him any information until I get the number to call the company myself and he kept saying its urgent and he needs to help me so I told him if its that urgent why is he wasting time and not giving me the number I needed to call and get the help supposedly I needed and he disconnected on and hasn't called since.... be aware people and don't give out your information...

Just got a call from a guy with a strong Indian accent telling me to go to my computer because of some problem that my computer was having. The call came from Texas and I asked him who he represents and he insisted that he was with "tech support" and he wanted to help me. I kept pressing him to explain who he was with...I started raising my voice and he then said "[***] you, [***]" and he hung up.

That's the first time I ever heard an Indian person use profanity...very funny!

Same here.  A guy who said his name was Christopher and spoke very bad English said I could recieve up to $9000 from a federal grant.  Asked him what company he was calling from and couldn't understand what he said.  A lot of foreign people in the background too.     Told him I didn't need it but he kept insisting he was calling from federal department.  Asked the location he was calling from and he hung up.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM

Received a call from this number - came up as 'ATT' on our caller ID.  After a short pause, a woman with a very heavy accent (sounded African to me) came on the line - it was obvious she was in a loud call center - I could also hear a man screaming in the background to someone - LISTEN TO ME!!!  Of course, I was immediately aware this was a scam, but wanted to hear what the details were.  She told me she was calling from 'The Government' and was trying to give me a $10,000 grant.  I told her I wasn't interested, to remove me from their calling list, and I hung up.  Will see how long before they call back again....

Just received call from (469) 286-9841. A foreign lady in a crowded call center told me she was working for the government and I was being awarded $9200. After I asked several questions about how you get the money she hung up. I guess I wasn't supposed to know these answers.

Said I had $7,000 in federal grant money and wanted my bank account or credit card number so they could deposit the money.
