What ever you do, don't stay on the phone with them, they can get your personal information if you stay on long enough. That's what they want you to do so they can get your info. Just make a complaint with the FTC and we will soon hear from these A**holes again. Hopefully they get Deported!!!

Called left no message

So I get a phone call from some hacker advising me my email account has been accessed from someone who is sending malicious emails.  The conversation went on for several minutes before I could even understand what he was telling me, heavy heavy accent.
They obviously were trying to access my password – it never got to that point.
Knowing consumers can demand to speak to a Customer Service Representative in their own country, I asked him where in Canada he is located.  That stymied him.  It took several attempts before he said “Of course I am in ‘Canana’ we are just concerned your account has been compromised.”
I then asked “Where in Canada are you calling from?”  That got him scrambling.  It went back and forth 4 times – “Where in Canada are you?”
“I told you I was in Canana, we’re just concerned someone has gotten into you account.”
“Where in Canada are you?”
“I told you I was in Canana, and your account is threatened.”
“Tell me, what city in Canada are you in in right now?”
“What is your concern where I am?
“Tell me – Where in Canada are you?
