Has anyone reported this? Is anyone who is reciving the calls on the "do not call" list?  Poor Hector, AR.

When I say reported the call, I mean other than this website.

Yes they just called me too.  I didn't answer and when they didn't leave a voicemail I called it back and it said it was disconnected to I just hung up really quick and put the number into a google search.  Has anyone tried to call their phone company?  Would they look into something like that? I don't really know much about phone scams but I thought I'd ask yall to see if anyone has tried it already.

that was a bad analogy  , we do speak american here and not english . for instance here in the us we say " we are going to a hospital , in europe they say , " goin to hospital" . So yeah we understand your point , but HORRIBLE by comparasin

The Spanish recording is the equivalent to a similar English recording I get offering a $1500 "prize". Just like the English version IT IS SCAM  to get personal and financial info from you.
Hang up. Report them and add th to your do not call list. Adding a custom " silent" ringer to my phone has stopped me from wasting my tome from answering these calls...just an idea.

received this call yesterday. voicemail in spanish.

just got automated call from this number, yes, it was spanish recording, as i don't speak spanish can't say what was said

I got the same call on 3/12/2010 at 11am, went on donotcall.gov and filed a complaint, you all should do the same so we can stop this

479-284-8989 IS A SCAM! Do not answer it and report the call immediately as a scam. In Spanish, these freaks will tell you that your cell phone number has won a large amount of money and to claim it "Press1". When you do this, your cell phone will be charged hundreds of dollars. DON'T FALL FOR IT! Let these illegal ****s get off their scamming [***] and get a real job.

Been getting a call from this number 2-3 times a week on my cell.  Like all other notes, in Spanish so I hang up.

got a call on 3/12/2010 at 2:30pm from 479-284-8989. I did not answer.

got a call, did not pick up, left no message..hahaha

I got this call at 1:44 p.m. Whoever it was didn't leave a message. When I call the number, I get, "We're sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service." Probably not really calling from that number (if it's disconnected...) and have spoofed the incoming call number.

is there something in common about all of us? does anyone subscribe to red newsletters or donate to commie causes? is anyone of the Islamic faith? any jazz lovers? this could be serious....

I just received a call from 479-284-8989 on my cell phone. This was a pre-recorded message in Spanish. I do not understand Spanish, but if I knew how to say "**** you" in Spanish, than I would definitely say these two important words.
