I just received a call from this number and I figured it was a SCAM so I immediately hung up.  The Spanish recording said "Your phone number won a $1000 dollars, please press 1 to claim your prize."  STUPID CALLERS... GET A LIFE!!!!!

This just happened like almost 10 mins ago.

Crap!  I just got a call, too!!!  Goshdarn it, I was hoping it was a potential employer.  I have Trumpet Mobile, anyone else?  (For some reason, when I signed up, I was put in the system in Spanish, and occasionally, my phone commands flip over to Spanish, when I'm trying to call and reload.)  I wonder if those suckers sold this number.

I missed this call on 03/16. But I was waiting for a important phone call about my interview. Thought it was the call from the company I called back but the number was disconnected. Then i looked at the phone area code and realized that its a scam.

Message I received a call from an unknown caller, press #1.  I did.  It hung up...

I receive this call on my work phone. I didn't pick up.

Like many others previously noted, I received a call from, 479 284 8989, Wednesday, 17 March, at 20:50 hours.  I heard a Spanish-speaking recording, which I could not understand, and no one responded to my attempts at trying to answer.

For those who receive telemarketing phone calls on their cell phones, please report them immediately to the FCC.  Telemarketing calls to wireless phones are illegal. For example, it is unlawful for any person to make any call (other than a call made for emergency purposes or made with express prior consent) using any automatic telephone dialing system or any artificial or prerecorded voice message to any telephone number assigned to a paging service, mobile telephone service, or any service for which the called party is charged for the call. This prohibition applies regardless of whether the number is listed on the national Do-Not-Call list.

Got a phone call today from this number as well. About 15 minutes ago and called it back, and message stated it was a disconnected phone number! Where do these people get our phone numbers from!?! This is my cell number and my air time.. who is selling our phone numbers? This is ridiculous! The only thing i downloades today was 2 iphone apps. Dental Radiology and Cavity Free 3D. Could it be through apps that these people get your number??Whoever is doing this, they need to be stopped! Someone please do something!!

Don't answer "unknown" numbers

Same here, I won 1000, but when i asked how they got my number they hang up!

I got TWO call to my t-mobile cell phone number today (which is ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST by the way; I did not download music from the Internet, so I have no idea where they got my number and why they think I understand Spanish).

I did not answer the call as I did not recognize the number. I do NOT speak Spanish nor can I understand it. I do not wish to receive these calls.

I got called from this number: (479) 284 - 8989 and it was Spanish to my cell phone. I called back and got the massage said this number have been disconnect and no longer in service. How come the disconnect number could made a phone call. I google that phone number, it lead me to this. I also check the number and found out that is the cell phone number come from Hector, Arkansas-United State

Just got it on my, area code 516, cell phone. Didn't answer, left no message.
