- D RhodesI got a call from this number. The woman did not sound "professional" in her phone presentation so I was hesitant to talk. I did not give her any info and quickly hung up. Seems like a scam.
- Caller: 479-877-3203
- Call type: Telemarketer
- mamIt is a legit number. It appears on the medicare/medicaid marketplace website. Just go to http://marketplace.cms.gov and do a search for the number and you will see an explanation about the call centers. I am not sure they can receive incoming calls on that number though.
- Caller: government healthcare call center (marketplace.cms.gov)
- NixbooxIt is actually from the Marketplace...they called and left me a message saying that I or someone in my home qualified for Medicaid or CHIP coverage from the state and that I should call my local medicaid/Chip representative in my home state and gave the URL, which was valid and I'd previously visited. They did NOT leave a call-back number and didn't say I needed to give them any information.
- TaraI gt a call from this number but didn't answer it, they left a message letting me know my application had processed and gave my numbers to the local locations. Didn't ask for any information. Seemed fine to me.
Also, it says on the government site it lists numbers you may get calls from. 4 different numbers, (this is one of them) and that they are not fraudulent calls.- Call type: Political call

- AmandaCalled, then hung up.
- Caller: idk they hung up
- SergeiThis is a real phone call from HealthCare.gov regarding information submitted thru the website. They use a third-party company to make the calls but it is legit. You can see this link to check that the phone# It's not a fraud. Nevertheless, if you don't feel like sharing info to the phone, you can ask the agent to send you the paperwork by mail.

- silly me| 1 replyI got a call from this number and he knew my name, the HMO I was covered under, and he proceeded to give me a list of things I needed to send to the Healthcare.gov at their legitimate mailing address, gave me their legitimate phone #, everything seemed legit. This was on July 24th. I started trying to find everything he said I needed and he told me to black out any account #s before I copied them... Well I had a total panic attack today because I had to go out and buy a wireless printer yesterdaty and tried to hook it up to my macbook today, was bawling my eyes out and called the real government number, told them what was going on, begged for an extension after August 1st. The lady got me calmed down and told me I was OK, my account didn't need to be updated until October 25th. She told me and I verified on the internet that this was some kind of scam. I read on another website that it was thought to be caused by fired or rogue employes from the Healthcare.gov site. That's how he knew my name and the Ins Policy that I had.
- JohnCImportant: this is not a scam!!!! go to health.care.gov, call their official number and verify. it looks like a scam...,sounds like a scam...but it is not a scam. in fact, if you fail to contact them before September 5th, you may lose all of your coverage. sounds screwed up and it is, but you need to call healthcare.gov asap if you've not already.
