i dont who these people calling phone because they are my phone for someone else and it is pissisng me off

This company is GE Capital, which is a bank. I had co-signed with a past boyfriend about 8 years ago, we broke up over 4 years ago. About a year after we broke-up, I started getting these phone calls 3-4 days a week (including Saturdays) from weird area codes. I work and go to school full-time so I usually missed them, or they were so late at night or early in the morning that I wouldn't answer, or the caller would hang up. When I was able to speak to someone (finally) they said it was GE about my care credit account with my ex. I explained to them the situation and asked if there was a way to cancel the account or remove me. The guy (who had very poor English) told me to just send a letter to them and they would do so. I did that, about a year later the same thing happened. I told them about last time, they said send another letter. I sent another and didn't hear from them...for another year. Then they did the same thing. This is the 4th year in a row that I have had to deal with them. Always some person hard to understand, always the same responses. DO NOT GET A LOAN through this bank unless you enjoy being harassed. Oh, and the ex hadn't been late on his payments, he had tried to close the account also and they told him he had succeeded. They weren't calling him at all even though they always asked for him when calling me. So, they scam people, too.

Have recevied over 20 + calls over the past 2-3 weeks.  No messages left. When I played voice mail, you could hear heavy breathing and then a hang up.  Comes up GE Capital on caller id.  Going to notify AG's office and law enforcement of this annoying and harassing calls.  Am going to write a letter to GE Capital as well and put them on notice because I will pursue legal action against them.

I think its GEMoney based on the other posts. They are using different random numbers. Today this number showed up on my smart phone..they did not leave a message.

Why they are calling and not using a live person to state the nature of business I have no idea.

I get at least 1 call per hour, sometimes 2 from 9am to about 7pm. Answered most of the time and there is no one there and the phone disconnects after a few seconds. Great way for bill collectors to collect there money!GE

This is for my Lens Crafters account via GE Credit which is 37 days late. Unbelievable.

Just like the (937)-534-2092 number, they call my cell several days in a row, multiple times. Since this past Saturday, 13 times this Phoenix, AZ # called. No idea who they are, because they never leave a message. When I don't recognize the number I don't pick up. Simple as that. Stop calling me!!

The reason for not using a live person is because it is all a scam. They look for info on people on the internet and try to extort money. Do some research on this. If you do answer the call, tell them you want something in writing. If they refuse then stop answering the calls.

Someone out there is tampering with peoples' identity. I wish they would be caught and put into jail. This need to stop.... Some people are ruthless, wicked and need to be put out of this country. It starts with those so call dept collector people who hassle you.

I get several calls from this number per day.  I am tired of this repetitive call.  I have blocked it on my cell but it still lets me know a call was made to my cell.  I decided to call in hopes it would stop.

The recorded voice said I have an account with GE, which I do not.  It wanted the last 4 numbers of my social.  When I gave a made up number it continued to ask for it.  

This is a scam and maybe trying to get money out of me.   Rest of you, beware

They "scum" and they are fraud.

Do not give your SS # and do not make any payment or give them any personal information. Ask them to pull your information from the phone number they have on file.

They disconnect the calls in purpose so you call back and 'enter your Social Security number.'

I kept calling them without entering my Social, the guy possibly an "Indian" picked up and he asked me if I make a payment today?" I said, payment for what? I don't know you or your company but you call me 3 times a day...I have no idea who you are. Can you look up my telephone number and give me the information under this phone number. Then he ignored everything and said: "oh let me give you a customer service number (which was 1-800-333-1071), call them so they can help you." he said.
I called the second number and it said they are busy today so the hold time is about 15 mins.. but I kept holding for almost 1 hour. A lady finally picked up and asked for my personal information, I said I am not going to give her my name, you calling me every day and you have my number... what you want? she said, well you called me, you are passed due, so give me your information so I can discuss or I will transfer you to collection department. I said, F*** you and your collection department. Right now, I am going to report your phone numbers to Secret Services and report you for fraud and theft. Then they hanged up.

since they started calling they now call at least3 X times a day even on Sunday and up till 9pm    I am so pissed .....don't have a credit or loan with these people or anyone else, am debt free.... they also ask for different people   have had this same number over 8 years so it is not anyone previous.....telling them not to call does not work    so have now decided that they will make their money   am going to start using them as my whipping post and get out some frustration,,,,,gonna use  the worst words I can think of ,,,maybe after awhile if everyone would do this they may come up with a different way to communicate   if not  at least I will feel better.....sorry operator telling me it is your job will not work anymore    lol

This number is constantly calling me asking for  a Lilia. My name is not the name they are looking for. I called the number they leave and reported it but they have no0t removed me from their list.

they call me every 2 hours and never leave a message.If I don't know the number I don't answer!

Start at 8am on the dot on Sundays, don't stop until 8pm. Never get a person.
