I get several calls from this number, they call and hang up.  When I answer the calls, the same thing!  This is very annoying.  Is there any way to just block this number?

I am tired of the scamming accent ridden fools calling my number just to hang up. Call the # back and it says not a valid number. Something's fishy!!!! The world is full of crooks!!!

really annoyed they keep calling and say nothing or a couple of words in spanish then hang up then call again 10 mins later. stupid people wish there was some button you could push that would fry their phone lines

...ALSO...There is no language called"Mexican"...it's all Spanish.

480-999-1234 has been calling 2-3 times a day for the last 4 days.  We also have a spanish speaking woman on the other end and once you say hello she mutters something and hangs up.  What is going on?!?!  I would think there are enough complaints on here for someone to investigate this.  What is the motive behind the calling?  Are they getting money in some way?  It is really annoying, especially since the phone rings during my baby's nap time and wakes him.  Arrrrrgh!!!

We get calls from this number at least once a day.  We don't answer anything that says "out of area", "unknown caller" or "ID withheld" - so it goes to the answering machine.  Always they hang up.  

If anyone has any success thwarting these people and stopping these calls -- PLEASE, please post it and let us know too.

This number has called my husband's cell for a few days now.  He's never answered the phone until today.  It was a lady speaking spanish.  She mentioned something about he's been selected as a winner, etc.  He ask who she was, but she only answer with a question "what's your name?"  That's when he hanged up.  Hopefully, no more calls.  This is becoming a concern.

I just started getting calls from this # like 2 wks ago. But every time I answer they don't say anything, they just hang up. And when I returned the call it said that it is a non-working #. What is going on anybody know?

I received a call from this number, for the fist time. Hopefully they wont keep calling.

The new continent was named, presumably, after him. New continent: from Canada to Chile. America is the WHOLE continent. North America is Canada, USA and depending on the source, a part of Mexico or the whole. Central America: Guatemala, Belize, Panama, etc. South America: Brazil, Chile, etc.
United States could be Mexican United States (the official name of mexico) or United States of America.
Last but not least, the so called native American languages: Mayan, Tzotzil, Cucapa, Yaqui, and thousand more... And well, if I would agree with injanasdefense and America started when it was named America after Amerigo Vespucci, then I would say that the Native American Language is Spanish as Spaniards were the first to settle in the new continent.

OMG this number calls and calls all the time on my cell phone and its A Women Speaking Spanish telling me how I won A credit card......yeah right not in this lifetime

I am so sick of these [***] calling me!  I reported them to the FCC http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e219&id=d1e225 (Form 1088B) I called my phone company and they want to charge me a monthly fee to be able to block this number!  I am not going to pay for that...Instead I will buy a whistle to blow in their friggin ear next time they call

This company is call tele services they said they are calling on the behalf of verizon and then want to give you a 500 minute card to call national or international they may be haging on you because they speak spanish.

They said they are calling on the behalf of Verizon because tomorrow they will do some service in the lines and more than 100 numbers in my town will be affected and then want to give you a 500 minute card to call national or international as thank you for the inconvenience I hang on when they started to ask personal questions and they speak Spanish. I have see the phone number on my caller ID for a couple of weeks almost every day.

this is a persistent issue with calls all day long ,  spanish speaking  sometimes,

I set this up to be blocked via the call screening that's included with my Comcast Phone Service some time ago, and have not received a single call since.  Someone previously mentioned that you dial *60 to activate it on Comcast, but that is actually *80, at least here in Washington State.

I strongly recommend that whocallsme.com provide links and/or phone numbers to representatives of congress for each state as well as numbers for the appropriate authorities to report this activity to.  Clearly, some of these scams have been going on for a long time!

I've been getting these calls for about a month,  Noone ever said anything on the first call I got, so now I don't answer and I reported it to the no call registery.
