call from this number and 5025229998. called 4 times within 3 hours. i asked how many times they planned on calling and they said up to 6. wont say what its about since it wasnt for me. just says its a personal matter. we dont use credit cards at all so beats me as to what there trying to do. they gave this number to call back on though 877 750 9206

no message, but recieve calls occassionaly from this number, no answer when dialed the number back

I get a your number can not be completed as dialed when I call back this number. This is a bunch of [***] and someone needs to do something about it.

I do have a sears card form citibank, so i guess it makes sense that they own the number, but I'm TIRED of it. Is this an ethical practice?

these people are calling my cell phone constantly...at least 6 times a day!

THey called, didn't leave message. Not behind on any bills.  Scam artists.  Blocking this number and suggest you all do the same.

I get called from this number several times a day.  I answer and no one answers back, I try to call back and it says its a none working number.

if you were offered a line of credit and are now getting these calls (they are the collection branch of citibank) you should speak to them, someone may have opened and maxed that line of credit...it happened to us and was a little bit of a mess to clean up even though we discovered it within a month.  It is definitely worth your while to pull a credit report and find out if you have been affected by identity theft.

If this is  collections why dont they just talk to you instead of hanging up when they call 3 to 5 times a day?
Do they get off on this not to communicate with people but call and hang up all the time.
Its known as harrassment either block the callers number or have your number changed.

Recieved this number on my phone today at 8:30am.  Looked here and saw it was Citibank (Sears).  Checked my account online and it turns out my payment was due 5/2/10 (2 days late).  Must have slipped my mind.  Made an online payment.  Hopefully they won't call any more.

Citibank Universal is part of a collection cartel that makes it's money by getting you to pay by annoying you.  We should be writing faxing or calling our Senators and Congress people and advising them of this practice and asking them to take action to stop this. It if don't then vote them out.

Nonstop collection calls from Citibank Sears card. They are calling a number that is outdated, incorrect, and obviously does not belong to their debtor. I will send them a certified letter ordering them to cease all contact, after which I will sue them in my home county for $2,500 per phone call. And I'll win. If you're in California, learn about the Rosenthal Act. In California and other states, you may sue them under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

I have been getting calls from 3 different numbers   just now I answered on  she was in missouri  she said----said was citi bank and they handled sears accts.   wanted my last 4 numbers to my social   I said no and hung up   how do we stop these calls???!!!    Ist 2 numbers were from louisville, Ky.

I have 2 credit cards I am 14 days behind on and I get calls from this # multiple times daily.  I assume it is a collection call, and both cards are with Citibank.  No reason to freak out. Glad I found out the source.
