Bernett isn't a telemarking outfit.  It's surveys.  The do not call list does not apply to this type of thing.  Try looking up the rules.

I listened to their [***] a little while back. I am doing the cigarette study. They send me free smokes. I tell them what I think about them. Sounds good to me. 12 packs +$35. Over a $120 for doing something I am going to do anyway.

I have had my cell for 2 years and have never received any calls except from family and friends.  Thursday night I went to a baseball game here in Seattle and did the silly little contests they had going on the screen where you text to guess a trivia question.  It's been 5 days and I've started getting calls from numbers I don't know.  I went to the Bernett web site and used their opt out.  Hopefully it will work and they haven't sold my number to a zillion other businesses.

Update:  1st called number listed above:  I live in Georgia, therefore not cover in "their area".  However, they did give me another number: 208.232.8890. I spoke with an individual... so  H O P E F U L  it works.

"Internet and Phone" Company that deal with Bernett Research.That right!! They want to sell their "iPhone" with their "Internet and Phone " service ,get it! I don't understand why they got the nerve to call on Sunday when people want to relax to watch " Bob Schieffer" on "CBS Face of the Nation" Can you believe that! Bob is still working! He still working over 65 year old! How long will he have to work for CBS,when he get to be 91 years old like Andy Rooney? I can't believe this,this guy work double time and a half and so is the guy from Bernett Research who try to call me today! Talk about age discrimination ,this company lay me off because I look old,HA! I GOT 25 YRS BEFORE MY RETIREMENT!!

Oh no ,not again! You see what happen when you type so FAST! That " WRONG" not "WORRY "I  wish I could buy that " Speak and Spell"software from IBM, you speak on the microphone  and it spell its out on the screen for you,so I don't worry about typing the words so fast. This is why we couldn't get JOBS! Too many old people are abusing to HOLD A JOB TOO LONG! THAT WHY THE WORD "WORRY" GOT ON MY MIND! Are these old people are worrying about losing their income when they are rich?

Received my first call from this company. Did not answer as I have caller ID and did not recognize the number. Went on line and typed area code and the  first choice to autocomplete my search was "area code 503". I thought my computer was reading my mind. Then I searched it I found all the hits and this website. Needless to say I won't ever answer it. Hope they stop calling.

if i didnt want to receive their calls, verizon allows me to add their # to a 'block #' list online; I would think that all "cell ph carriers" have this online feature, not so sure about voip and landlines.

These are different people commissioned for making calls and getting them answered for Bernett Research.  So they have vested interest in getting you to answer and do their largely political surveys - one more example how broken our system of politics is.  They try to use technology, but only succeed in pissing people off.

This number called my cell number...and claimed to be calling from a law firm. He wanted me to give him my credit card info for a debt that I owed. He claimed that he could not send an e-mail nor a letter in the mail about this debt. I wanted some kind of proof that he was legit.

I tried to go to the website that you posted but it stated *this website cannot be found*.  I guess too many people put their number into their do not call list so they removed the website.  Does anyone else have another website to get off their list?  Thanks..

I just clicked on the website and it was there.  I was able to find the Opt Out link and added my number.  We'll see if it actually works now.
