Scam. I keep calling and harassing them now! They ask for my SS number and I told them NOOOO

it is a number for the wells fargo overdraft department.  i just called it back and we resolved my issue.

** WARNING ** We normally ignore unrecognized numbers, but the machine said it was Wells Fargo. They called so many times my wife called to complain. Their machine sounded just like Wells Fargo, and it even took forever to get a human, just like a real bank. They said it was to confirm activity, even had our current address, and once he had her full confidence, she gave out her Soc Sec No to confirm accounts. They he asked for the account No at the bank. He got it and then the warning signs clicked. We immediately called Wells Fargo and it is NOT once of their numbers!  We fell for a classic phishing scheme for sure and we immediately contacted major credit bureaus.

This is Wells Fargo overdraft dept.  I have received several calls and I do have a Wells Fargo acct in overdraft status.  DEFINATELY WELLS FARGO.

This actually is not a scam. I called my local bank and a relative had an account with issues.  If you doubt the legitmacy of it, please call your local bank and never give out SS# and account information to someone contacting you.

So we don't EXACTLY know who this is?  They call me non stop every day for over a month! I have not had a Wells Fargo account either.

Not sure what's with the moronic posts on here about wild scams and bs, but it is wells fargo. I just spent overdrawed 400 dollars to get a fursuit on ebay :3 am i gonna pay it back? no probly not ever lol

not wells fargo. I got a call from them today. a "hello" followed by two beeps. I don't even have an overdraft.

This number calls me at least 3 times a day everyday!! I've answered it a few times saying "hello" and all they do is hang up!

still with the stupid posts from people but it is indeed Wells Fargo, if you don't have overdraft it could just be a mother#$%#er doing caller id spoof or someone else who had your phone number in the past, you're not the only phone user in the world!

If you do have an overdraft and want the call to stop you can just lie and say you got a new phone and got this number just recently.

Everyday, sometimes twice a day. When I answer no one is there and then hangs up. Weird

Why would wells fargo be calling me after closing hours?

Despite what everyone paranoid or not says here, it is wells Fargo, my account was overdraft and it's the number that called me 20 times before I checked here, then spoke to them.
